@altvu Cultures within a civilisation evolve over time under external factors like environment and interactions with outsiders. They’re never stagnant.
Pakistan is more culturally closer to the IVC than India.
Geography doesn’t lie.

Yes, Pakistan Always Existed.
Known by many names over the centuries, it has witnessed many civilizations and empires rise and fall on its soil.

@clary_co The original Harappan Civilization is also kinda modern Pakistan.

See how even the Greeks avoided india
Matthew Yglesias@mattyglesias
There was a Greek kingdom for roughly 200 years in what is now Pakistan.

@Alyhassan959 Yes, we had better rulers then and better defences. Even Islamic invasion was limited to Sindh for more than a century I believe.
It's fascinating a population enjoying foreign rule over them and even gloating over it !!

@Infrno7 @DNoorzai123 All the Abrahmic religions have a similar concept. Most of us are 'Others' for them and can be insulted or treated unequally.

This couple lives in Bengaluru, and both are working professionals.
They shared a detailed breakdown of how much it costs for a married couple to live in Bengaluru, where even a good salary can disappear quickly by the end of the month.
Rent: ₹56,000/month
Helper: ₹10,000/month
Groceries: ₹15,000/month
Electricity & Internet: ₹15,000/month
Commute: ₹6,000/month
Eating out: ₹10,000/month
Subscriptions: ₹3,000/month
Shopping: ₹15,000/month
Their monthly expenses are nearly ₹1,30,000, and this does not even include vacations or luxury purchases.
Bengaluru may offer high salaries, but the cost of living can be just as high. For many people, saving money has become harder than ever.

A video is spreading rapidly across social media. What happened to one passenger on a train is something he never could have imagined, not even in his wildest thoughts.
The man had a confirmed ticket. He was sleeping comfortably in his seat, completely at ease, with nothing to worry about.
Then a woman approaches him. She doesn’t ask for much, just a little space to sit and have her breakfast. A simple, harmless request.
The passenger, being decent and considerate, offers her his seat to eat comfortably. He shifts, she settles in. A small gesture of human courtesy.
A little time passes. The journey is long, the rhythm of the train is lulling and without realising it, the passenger drifts off to sleep.
When he opens his eyes, he is stunned. The woman, a complete stranger, someone he has never met before in his life, has finished her breakfast and is now sleeping right beside him, pressed against his side.
His ticket is confirmed. The seat is legally his. But he is afraid to even wake her up.
Because he knows the dangerous reality. If by any chance, even accidentally, his hand brushes against her while waking her, that single moment could destroy his life.
Now pause. Think carefully.
If this exact same situation were reversed, if it had been a man doing this to a woman, what would have happened next?

Did you know why Mamata Banerjee didn’t resign?
In the 2023 Maharashtra Shiv Sena case, the Supreme Court said it could not restore Uddhav Thackeray’s government because he had resigned before facing the floor test.
The Court observed that had he not resigned, the situation could have been different.
So most probably, Mamata Banerjee is also looking at the Supreme Court route instead of resigning immediately.

TVK leader Vijay Joseph holds a pic of Jesus after his victory in Tamil Nadu elections in his road show.
Population of Christians in Tamil Nadu 44 Lakh.
Population of Muslims in Tamil Nadu 42 Lakh
Population of Hindus in Tamil Nadu 6.31 crores.
Zero outrage by the INC.
Zero outrage by the DMK.
Zero outrage by journalists and media.
Zero outrage by leftists and converts.
Now imagine if Modi ji, Yogi Adityanath, Hemanta Biswa Sarma, or Suvendu Adhikari do the same thing in their victory road show, carrying a pic of Prabhu Shree Ram.
