@mweinbach I tried having a HomePod mini be a speaker that I could edit off of and play media off of, like YouTube, but there was some insane delay between when I pressed play, and when the audio actually went through. Do you experience that?

My desk speakers are now 2 full side HomePod 2 and it is glorious

@mweinbach I’m really hoping Apple will offer a 12 month lease for the iPhone ultra that is rumored to come out later this year. I plan to buy the phone with the leasing program, but I still want to upgrade yearly and so 24 months would be too long for me.

Only $55/mo for a Mac Studio which is usually $2,800? And the lease is only 36 months? That looks like a good deal. I feel like it’s almost too good! Am I missing something? 🤔

@DylanMcD8 I’ll probably utilize it for the iPhone ultra. 2500 would be a lot in cash, but since I would plan to upgrade after a year anyway, 200 a month wouldn’t be so bad!

Okay Apple Upgrade actually looks very enticing, especially the 12 mo iPhone option and 36 mo MacBook option! Since it’s easy to change your mind and keep the device, I might utilize it a lot this fall 👀

@MIBProductions This is good for me with the iPhone that I upgrade every year. That way, I don't have to worry about selling it. I just return it and get the new one. But for other devices, I will not do it.

So Apple just released a new program to use their devices called “Apple Upgrade”. This program allows you to lease iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and Macs by paying monthly installments for 12, 24, or 36 months depending on the device. Is this a good idea? Yeah I think it actually is, IF you are good with credit cards. The system is ran by Klarna. Heres the thing, you do not OWN these devices unless you choose to pay the remaining balance. When you lease an iPhone 17 Pro Max for example, you can pay $49.99 a month for 12 months, which will equal $599.88 at the end of the term. That price is key because if you plan to re-enroll into the next iphone, you can give the previous one back and start paying for the next. You’d be saving near half the price of the phone by leasing it, but like I said, you don’t own it. If you wanted to keep your iphone, you’d have to either pay the other have right then, or pay it over another 12 months. Very very interesting program… what do you think?
