A team member ordered and paid for a poster to be printed at @officedepot so he could bring it to a vigil for Charlie Kirk tonight in Michigan. When he arrived to pick it up four hours later, the employees said they refused to print it, calling the poster “propaganda.”

“You can’t point to any socialist country that has been successful, Socialism has never worked, it never will, and people that are promoting it right now are people that do not love this country the way that you and I do.” - State Director Tim Golding on @stevegrubershow this morning. While national figures fly in to sell failed socialist ideas to Michigan tomorrow, @AFPAction, with @MikeRogersForMI, will be on the ground talking to voters about what actually matters to them. 👉 Join us at 10 AM in Macomb at 20376 Hall Rd, Macomb, MI 48044

Secretary of State @JocelynBenson's failed record is an expensive bill for Michigan taxpayers. Her disastrous IT projects and "upgrades" have left state government less accessible while demanding taxpayers foot the bill for experiments that crash and burn. Jocelyn Benson has proven she is incapable of handling this responsibility, which is why we removed it from her office altogether in the new state budget.

What would this year's budget look like without House Republicans? We've been saying since last year's budget there were more ghost employees to cut in state government. Just as promised, we cut hundreds more this year.

Check out the latest episode of MF Unfiltered with MFN Press Secretary @gabriel_butzke and MFN Director of Advocacy @MBanerian. It’s a conversation about the disconnect between where Michiganders believe we are as state and how far the state has really fallen.

So what? Cranbrook is sick. I wish I went there. I had friends who did. Was blown away by the campus and educational opportunities on offer. I have zero problem with the school or with the people who can afford to send their kids there. The point of my original banger tweet was to highlight the absurdity of hardcore leftists like Abdul El-Sayed, Tom Steyer, and Graham Platner endlessly demonizing the wealthy despite being wealthy themselves—and, in El-Sayed's and Platner's cases, going to great lengths to downplay or hide that wealth. I have zero interest in dunking on Haley Stevens because she went to Cranbrook for one year. Again, who cares? She's always been honest about it, as exhibited in the clip below. Plus, these days she's worth a whole lot less than El-Sayed. Success is good. Wealth is good. Being rich is good. I'd like more people in Michigan to be successful, wealthy, and rich. That's how Michigan used to be, and I hope it returns to that level of prosperity. More broadly, despite being a conservative Republican from Michigan, I'm not a fan of right-of-center groups playing games to boost El-Sayed over Stevens because some D.C. consultant's model theorizes that Mike Rogers might have a marginally easier time beating him. Would Mike Rogers be a better senator than Haley Stevens? Yes. Do I hope he wins? Also yes. But the threat to America posed by politicians who subscribe to El-Sayed's ultra-radical, Islamist-sympathetic, Communist-adjacent worldview is civilizational. Anyone to the right of Stalin should hope he's defenestrated as soon as possible. Yes, even in the Democratic primary. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Asking for a friend. Capitalism, limited government, freedom and opportunity helped Abdul El Sayed and his family achieve the American Dream. Shouldn’t he be working to expand those opportunities rather than running for Senate only to make government larger and economic mobility more difficult?

Government should work for the people, not focus on politicized attacks on private businesses. Unfortunately, Democrats were just fine with the latter. Thanks to House Republicans, the new state budget limits the attorney general's ability to target people for political gain. No more weaponized lawsuits. No more endless attacks on job creators. No more abuse of taxpayer dollars for political theater.

What would this year's budget look like without House Republicans? All year long, Democrats said we had to raid the state's rainy-day fund to pass the budget. Turns out all we needed was House Republicans doing the work and finding hundreds of millions of waste, fraud, & abuse in state government to pass a smaller budget than last year and keeping our rainy-day fund FULLY INTACT.

With Speaker Matt Hall and House Republicans leading the way in Michigan state government, we're seeing improvements everywhere — especially when it comes to government transparency, efficiency, and accessibility. Whether it's press conferences, portals for committees, or passing the Hall Ethics, Accountability, & Transparency plan, government should work smoothly for the people.
