On this solemn Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women of our armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation. We honor the Michiganders who have answered the call of duty with unwavering courage. Their life and legacy inspire us all. We owe them a debt that can never be repaid, only honored through our commitment to preserve the freedoms they died to protect. God bless our fallen soldiers, and bring comfort to their families and loved ones. 🇺🇸

As Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party—fresh off what many have called the most well-run convention in over the last 20 years—I feel compelled to express my deepest, most heartfelt concern for my former Senate colleague, Curtis Hertel. Truly, no one should have to endure the kind of hardship he’s facing now: members of his own party—Attorney General, senators, prosecutors—all calling for audits, recounts, and investigations of his convention. The stress must be overwhelming. I see he’s assembling a committee to “review the process,” and in the spirit of bipartisanship—and basic human compassion—I am prepared to step forward and serve.
