If you have a UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer and the visible lamp goes out, it's very likely a $4 appliance bulb that you can from any home improvement store. Just pop it out & match the V and A settings (it's marked on most bulbs). Or you can pay the 5000% markup from the vendor.

It’s my last day at UW — I successfully defended my PhD in October! I’ve had a ton of fun, learned so much in Daniel’s group, and have been surrounded by such great group members. I’m off to Berkeley for a postdoc with @DKBediako and couldn’t be more excited for the next chapter!

Glad to see free childcare is returning to the ACS National Meeting and Expo next year at San Diego. Getting this done likely involved multiple negotiations between @ACS and the convention center folks (who ultimately are responsible/liable for allowing caretakers on site).
