For the quarter, the total reached $564 million, up 37% year-on-year. Russian fertilizers remain competitive due to cheap natural gas used in production — which keeps prices lower. Sanctions have also had an unexpected effect: new U.S. tariffs did not hit Russia but affected its competitors, tilting the market in Moscow’s favor. The situation was further worsened by the crisis in the Middle East. Disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz pushed many suppliers out of the market, sending fertilizer prices sharply higher. Against this backdrop, the U.S. is forced to buy from Russia — otherwise the impact on agriculture would be severe.

Swiss authorities have confirmed a case of #hantavirus identified in a passenger from the MV Hondius cruise ship. He had responded to an email from the ship’s operator informing the passengers of the health event, and presented himself to a hospital in Zurich, Switzerland, and is receiving care. In line with the International Health Regulations (IHR), WHO is working with relevant countries to support international contact tracing, to ensure that those potentially exposed are monitored and that any further disease spread is limited. The type of virus in this outbreak has been confirmed as Andes hantavirus by the National Institute for Communicable Diseases @nicd_sa, South Africa and the Geneva University Hospitals @hug_ge, Switzerland The support of the Institut Pasteur de Dakar @PasteurDakar, Senegal and the Administración Nacional de Laboratorios e Institutos de Salud @ANLIS_Malbran, Argentina has also been critical in responding to this event. As of 6 May, there are 8 cases, 3 of whom are confirmed as hantavirus by laboratory testing. WHO will continue to work with countries to ensure that the patients, contacts, passengers and crew have the information and support they need to stay safe and prevent spread.

The SCOTUS effective deadline for re-districting to eliminate unconstitutionally racist districts was NOW.
The racist districts are unconstitutional. One cannot have a valid election using unconstitutional racist districts.
Perhaps this would be more obvious if the districts SCOTUS had just ruled unconstitutional were pro-White/anti-black districts rather than the reverse.
That this even needs to be said is remarkable.

SCOTUS didn’t set a deadline for states to fix racially gerrymandered VRA districts. There are 15 VRA districts in states with Democrat governors: six in California, three in New York, three in Illinois, one in New Jersey, and two in Virginia. Those governors will drag their feet until the next redistricting cycle in 2032, unless the RNC plays offense by filing suits in federal district courts to force those states into compliance quickly.

There are "victims" when unconstitutional districts are knowingly and willfully used.
Inconvenience to the state is not a justification to violate the constitution.
The maps with Majority-Minority districts drawn explicitly based on race CANNOT be used in an election. The outcome will be invalidated.
The legislatures need to do whatever they need to do for one election cycle in terms of altering their calendars.
That's what losing parties in litigation do every day.
The should have already been at work on options depending on the outcome of Callais.
Saying "Sorry, we don't have time" isn't going to be on the list of acceptable outcomes.
