@veritasium The video challenged my intuition so much it was borderline uncomfortable. Simply brilliant! I highly recommend watching it. And after you recommended others to watch it, watch it again yourself because you know there is a debate coming.

So this surprised me. I thought the rocket was the killer shot but now that I've changed the thumbnail on YouTube, Face is performing significantly better (as it is here). I feel like my title is also sub-optimal so if you have title suggestions I would love to hear them.

@veritasium Watched it with the photoshopped thumbnail...still thought it was an awesome video! Seeing those ‘crystals lattices’ made by the balls made me think this is what a imaginary tour of an actual crystal at the molecular scale might seem like.

Which thumbnail do you prefer? Obviously one is photoshopped, but the other is real...

99.97% of the election results are in. It seems not much has changed. I don’t think the DA will be too pleased with the results - all the predictions said they would gain but they actually lost a few points. Just glad it is all over
