Sting said something that really stuck with me on CBS Sunday Morning: “All of us are in danger of losing our work to AI… everyone. Whether you’re an artist, a journalist, a lawyer — this technology could replace any of us.” His takeaway? The only thing that will truly save us is community — supporting the people next to you, looking out for each other. In a world racing toward automation and isolation, real human connection and mutual support might become our most valuable currency. I’ve been feeling this more and more lately — no matter how advanced the tools get, the relationships we build are what actually anchor us. What do you think — is community the real answer to surviving the AI revolution, or is there something else we need?

@realNDWalsch @realNDWalsch I am confused by this post; isn’t our faith and submission to follow God’s will considered obedience? Our growth is discovering who we truly are! Have we been conditioned not to think?

The truth is, most people don't want to have to think. They elect leaders, they support governments requiring no independent thought. If all you are doing is following someone else's rules, then you have not grown, you have obeyed.

The Secret of My Laughter - A student asks His Holiness the Dalai Lama the secret behind his famous childlike laughter. His answer is disarmingly simple: a relaxed mind, no ego, and the understanding that we are all the same human beings. He explains how seeing yourself as "something special" creates stress and anxiety, while honesty, humility, and transparency are the true foundations of inner peace. Video originally recorded on May 31, 2014.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said in a 10-minute video address released Sunday that Canada’s strong economic ties to the United States were once a strength but are now a weakness that must be corrected. Carney further spoke about his government’s efforts to strengthen the Canadian economy by attracting new investments and signing trade deals with other countries.

The universe just pulled off something almost impossible… over Iceland. 🌌🌑 This is the kind of moment that doesn’t just feel rare… it feels unreal. Seeing the Aurora Borealis is already a bucket-list experience. Witnessing a Solar Eclipse is rare on its own. But both… perfectly aligned in the same sky? That’s the “double crown” — and it might be a once-in-a-lifetime sight. What looks like pure magic is actually a perfect storm of timing: ✨ A powerful geomagnetic storm ignited vivid auroras across the polar sky 🌑 At the exact same time, the Moon slipped into the Sun’s path of totality 👁️ From the perfect angle, the Sun’s glowing corona formed one crown… while shimmering green auroras painted another behind it Two crowns. One sky. One fleeting moment. This is what happens when cosmic precision meets Earth’s atmosphere — a reminder that the universe doesn’t just work in equations… it performs. And sometimes, if everything aligns just right… we get to witness it.

I don’t really understand the maths it takes to send humans behind the Moon and bring them back safely. And the more I sit with that, the more it genuinely messes with my head even tho my love for physics and my knowledge of physics is astounding to a point Somebody had to work out a path where the Moon’s gravity is pulling you in, the Earth is pulling you back, and you’re moving just fast enough and not slow enough not to get trapped by either. They had to figure out the exact angle to come back into Earth’s atmosphere too. Too steep, you burn up. Too shallow, you bounce off and drift into space. And they had to get all of that right at the same time, for real people sitting in a small metal capsule about 400k kilometres away from home. Nothing in that system is standing still. The Moon is moving. The Earth is moving. Even the Sun is pulling on everything. And still, some people looked at all of that motion, all of that chaos, and turned it into numbers you can follow. Go here. Adjust here. Come back here. And unlike nepa light, it infact works. There’s also that moment in the journey where the crew passes behind the Moon. No contact with Earth. No signal. Just silence, with a massive rock blocking everything they’ve ever known. The only reason they can stay calm in that moment is because someone, somewhere, did the maths and proved they’ll come out the other side. I don’t know what it feels like to trust something that much. To put your life in an equation when you’re that far away from everything. But I do know this for sure, whatever that level of thinking is, whatever it takes to reach it, it might be one of the most extraordinary things human beings have ever done...

☀️ Good morning Canada. Welcome to my misinformation edition 🇨🇦 Canada politics Today’s theme: how misinformation spreads through influencer networks and social media. • A viral claim from commentator Marc Nixon cited a “poll” from Maple Polling claiming Mark Carney had 77.1% negative approval. When questioned and compared with legitimate polling data, Maple Polling deleted the tweet. The misinformation had already reached ~19K impressions. • A second viral claim alleged Carney was booed on a jumbotron clip at a sports event. The claim was circulated by accounts including Tracy Wilson and echoed by others. The accompanying TSN video clip contains no audible booing. • Claims that Canada is planning to join the European Union also circulated online. While commentator Mario Zelaya framed this as a serious Liberal proposal, there is no government policy or negotiation suggesting Canada could or would join the European Union. • Another viral post suggested Bill C‑9 (Canada) could criminalize passages from the Bible. In reality, the bill concerns judicial discipline procedures and does not regulate religious speech. • Jasmine Laine claimed Carney ignored French speakers until campaigning in Terrebonne. Yet Carney’s public engagements in Quebec pre-date that event. 📉 Pattern: Unverified claims → viral posts → impressions accumulate → corrections rarely travel as far. This is just in the last week. Pluralistic democracies depend on evidence-based debate, not viral narratives. You have coffee ☕️, I’ll pour myself a glass of wine 🍷 #GoodMorning #Canada #cdnpoli #MediaLiteracy #Misinformation

MESSAGE I wholeheartedly endorse the powerful appeal for peace made by the Holy Father, Pope Leo, during his Palm Sunday Mass. His call for the laying down of arms and the renunciation of violence resonated profoundly with me, as it speaks to the very essence of what all major religions teach. Indeed, whether we look to Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism or any of the world's great spiritual traditions, the message is fundamentally the same: love, compassion, tolerance, and self-discipline. Violence finds no true home in any of these teachings. History has shown us time and again that violence only begets more violence and is never a lasting foundation for peace. An enduring resolution to conflict, including the ones we see in the Middle East or between Russia and Ukraine, must be rooted in dialogue, diplomacy and mutual respect — approached with the understanding that, at the deepest level, we are all brothers and sisters. I urge for and pray that the violence and conflicts may soon come to an end. DALAI LAMA 31 March 2026
