Since yesterday’s fixture against Brighton, which took place during the Premier League’s No Room For Racism weekend, Kevin Danso has been, and continues to be, subject to significant and abhorrent racist abuse on social media. There is no place for racism at Tottenham Hotspur. There is no place for racism in football. Read our statement: thfc.pro/4sIGXdY

@WG_RumblePants I think I’m right in saying that they were the players’ county helmets but with the fabric taken off? As in the 90s the ECB weren’t providing England helmets as ‘part of the service’.

@SeniorCapitano By same accounts who convinced me Frank was a tactical mastermind, most adaptable manager in league and will have a different plan for every game, and who posted video of Cochrane putting cones out saying it’s nice to finally have players being coached

@OllieHolt22 And if he tries to bring in Joey Barton in his back room staff he won’t last long either!? He’s not even through the door and you already have him signing Greenwood! Sensing he’s going to get a rough ride from you guys

Roberto de Zerbi is a bold choice to take over at Spurs but if he ever tries to renew his association with Mason Greenwood and bring him to north London, his time in charge at the club will be over as soon as it has begun dailymail.co.uk/sport/football…

As mentioned earlier spoke to someone today with connections at the club. What was so weird was the way they said “ we aren’t going down” literally like they knew something I didn’t know. So either match fixing is gonna happen or they are still oblivious to the reality 😭

🚨RUMOUR Mauricio #Pochettino could leave the United States Men’s National Team and return to #Tottenham Hotspur NOW. #Spurs may need to act quickly, with pressure growing to make a managerial decision soon. [@Football_LDN | #THFC]

@georgebann Every second post on my feed, one saying he is keen the other saying he isn’t. It’s absolute bullshit, SM “reporters” trying to get ahead of the game so they can bookmark their work if it comes off. Tiring

So much guess work going on from smaller outlets trying to get the "big break" whilst jumping the gun. Spurs will move, but this constant pivoting of X manager is interested and then not interested is tiring

@vkon1 100%. Seen it all season with likes of Sarr, VDV, Spence, Vic, Udogie, Biss, Odobert + more. It’s been made 10 x worse these last few games with the pressure ramped up, especially at home. They look like they freeze. Not sure how they turn that around

I think that fear is what is paralysing Spurs at the moment and this is why we need a shift in mindset quickly or else we are screwed.
Hayters TV@HaytersTV

Arsenal legend Lee Dixon speaking exclusively to @strollernick on his former side’s Carabao Cup defeat: “What happens is the fear kicks in. Fear is what stops you progressing. Are you scared of making a mistake? Try not to be. “It’s not about holding back, it’s about expressing yourself. When you get that right balance, that’s when you take the next step.”

The club totally overhyped the welcome, the pre-recorded interviews, talking about how great it was going to be. It was all too much. Let the fans be organic. Let fans do what they want to do. The club should focus on winning the football match, then come out afterwards and talk about togetherness. Organic fan culture isn’t relentless reels, pre-match player interviews, or fans on Sky Sports News interviewed about what’s about to happen. Stay humble, measured, focused on the only goal that matters, winning. Can we not just be fans for once without the club packaging everything up, only for it to be thrown back in our faces after a 3–0 defeat? Say nothing until you win a bloody match. Contrast to Everton - No mention before the game, not a single post until the fans were on the streets. Tottenham could learn something from them.

I did wonder yesterday when the fans gave the players this totally undeserved reception what the majority of players inside would be thinking. I doubt some of them even looked, realised or appreciated. Headphones on & thinking of their girlfriends, flash cars, big houses & money.
