I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with the deadline. Sure, the Warriors still have their picks and traded a player they weren't playing. The flipside is that the team is getting older, and they traded for a player who has struggled to stay on the floor.

If Porzingis doesn’t play 80% of the remaining games this trade is a huge mistake. Kuminga might not have been a fit and wanted out but had they kept him past the deadline he you could at least rely on him to be there every night and would get a first real shot at how he looked with consistent minutes as a second option. Had he atleast played well you would have better offers in the offseason…. Truth is with JK + Buddy we were a play in team and with Porzingis we are a play in team…. If the ceiling didn’t change you were better off with being able to flip JK for more in the offseason…. And if that kid ends up having a coming out party in ATL there needs to be serious convos from the top down regarding everyone in the organization because they all decided he’s better off the roster even it means your not as good a team….

Just because the outcome is positive doesn’t mean the decision was a good one. But at a certain point you have to take into account the results and stop doing the “well one day, it won’t be right.” Sounds like you’re waiting for it to backfire to say you were right all along.
