Now I know she's really busy, but you know who would be a really badass incarnation of the Doctor #doctorwho

English

@Player_retiredd @Chiemela25 Why is that weird? White women do the same thing, it's called a perm
English

@Chiemela25 It's Crazy how women literally put something that could burn their hair inorder to style it
English

@JtswagsterOr Because in one, you're learning a skill and in the other you aren't. One, I respect. The other, I don't.
English

@MJHuntsgood Sure, but what's the effective difference between a human emulating a style and a computer doing it assuming they do it to a similar ability
English

Well, #awp26 is here. Amazing reading group in a beautiful space with @StanchionZine family last night. I’ll be signing books tomorrow at 2, Stanchion booth 434, and today and tomorrow at 11 with the lovely team from Last Syllable, booth 547, come say hi!

English

@MJHuntsgood Ii get that sentiment, but even for artists, a big part of starting out is copying what you like and trying to emulate a certain style. I do think someone using someone else's style naturally has to be familiar and a fan of the original
English

@JtswagsterOr I don't want people using my style without my permission or at least studying/reading my work.
People can do "in the style of x" without even reading people's work now.
English

@MJHuntsgood I think ai promoters should be open about what prompts they use and what artists styles they borrow from and encourage people to see the original creator. I think this is possible, but not in the current climate of vitriol between artists and ai
English

@JtswagsterOr ethically, even stepping away from the environment facts, which I can't truly admit to understanding, just the ethical issues with stolen works should bother people. it was trained on copyrighted material without paying the creators, stealing their ideas & not paying them
English

@MJHuntsgood I mean, Im down to argue the ethics of ai, though usually it ends up coming down to personal opinion. Some people are firm it's just evil environmentally while others argue it just needs better infrastructure thats less wasteful. Also important to compare it to other energy hogs
English

@MJHuntsgood @MoFoxxies Copywrite material
Didn't draw the image
Checks out
English

@MJHuntsgood Thanks! I always thought that title was for pretentious a-holes
English

@MoFoxxies @PawnDriver you really said that with your whole face
English

@MJHuntsgood @PawnDriver Wow you did it, you hurt AI's feelings.
And all you had to do was yell assumptions at strangers and behave unprofessional in front of all 12 of your fans
English

@100PercentRobot pays the bills but it isn't art
yeah cause it isn't it fucking rocks and has won awards
English

@MJHuntsgood Lame pays the bills. At least im not calling whatever TF a speculative horror author is lame
English

@100PercentRobot oh yeah i bet it's great you're doing the Lord's work.
your stuff on your page is lame
English

@MJHuntsgood Nah. This account is for fun. My LLC is entirely word of mouth business
English

@PawnDriver @MoFoxxies I'll still be here thinking you're an embarrassment because you can't write a book or make a painting on your own
English

@MJHuntsgood @MoFoxxies Yeah you are.
You will be sitting at a job interview within 5 years and they will ask how you use AI and you will explain your methods. You are going to say
"Look, I know I have been harsh about AI but everyone is using it so I have to as well."
And just like that lol
English

@100PercentRobot you have 1/5 of my followers and I know how many clients i have so I'm pretty sure you're embarrassing yourself right now
English

@MJHuntsgood That's not what my clients think. And Ive been practicing for decades
