@MJYAFC @air_ingy Morris wanted to leave… once you’re at that stage no alternative but to let him go… also £1M for 30-60 minutes per game player was a no brainier

Jensen, Clarkson, Keskinen, MacKenzie, Polvara, Gueye & Morris all played in the Scottish Cup winning side & were all under the age of 25 at the time - indeed, Topi still qualified as a 'Development' player at the time. Within 14 months, all have now left the club.

@MJYAFC @air_ingy Morris only ever had half a game in him. No engine like Hayes or Maginne. They would have still been bombing up the wings 93-95 mins. Shady would have been subbed/knackered after 60 mins. Correct decision to sell imho

@TheRogue87 Folk forget how much football he played too. He was run into the ground. The drop off was completely expected but then we lost the plot.

Looked promising in his 1st season, but the regression in his 2nd season was astonishing. Not helped by being played out of position, particularly for the likes of Okkels. If we've turned a profit, I'm fine with this, as long as the money is reinvested back into the squad.
