Broncos are trading for Miami WR Jaylen Waddle, per source. Denver receives: Waddle and Dolphins’ 4th-round pick (11th in round) in this year’s draft. Miami receives: Broncos’ 1st round pick (30th overall) along with their late 3rd and 4th round picks (30th in each round) in this year’s draft.

I thought a R1 pick for Waddle was too high and I still do. And this trade was a R1-plus.

Pittsburgh got Michael Pittman Jr. by trading a R6 pick (getting back a R7).
Denver got Jaylen Waddle by trading R1, R3 and R4 picks (getting back a R4):

Waddle's more productive, but not by much.
Denver got a talented receiver, but the Broncos didn't get a steal. If anything, the Broncos paid too high a price.
Bottom line: Only if they win a Super Bowl will it be worth it. If they get the big ring, the trade is a success. That's how this will be measured.

@MaseDenver Very dumb take. Waddle is better than anyone player we coulda have got with those draft picks, fits better in our offense than Pittman, and was not the #1 target on the team with Hill as #1 filling a similar role, with QB play being poor. This comparison is a stupid metric to use

To anyone who thinks the #Broncos got fleeced:
They didn't.
They basically used their first-round pick on Jaylen Waddle.
And there isn't a single WR — or maybe even player in general — they could've taken at No. 30 that would've been better than Waddle.
This is a fair deal.
