Didcot Town will travel to @BracknellTownFC in the third round of the Berks and Bucks Senio Cup.  The railwaymen booked their place in the third round with a 3-0 win at Flackwell Heath in midweek.  Ties are due to be played in the week commencing the 10th November.

I’m proud the Prime Minister has been bold with his National Service policy. It’s about building a sense of nation. Around 5% will get the opportunity to serve in our Armed Forces. Everyone else will serve Britain in other ways. It’ll bring our United Kingdom together.

It’s unsurprising that a lot of liberals on Twitter don’t like a conservative policy. What’s surprising is how vitriolic so many people have been about a policy that’s much less demanding than national service in Denmark or Norway and comparable to the scheme in France.

Labour wants to give 16 year olds the vote but sneer at making 18 year olds contribute to making the country safe. Classic. Labour are always about rights but never responsibilities. National Service is perfectly normal in most of Northern Europe. Young people are better for it
