@AnaKasparian I don’t condone threats against anyone, but it’s striking how some (read notorious antisemites) who spend all day attacking Israel and Jews, sometimes fueling hostility that spills into real-world harm, suddenly cast themselves as victims when their claims are challenged.

@digitalfoundry Are you sure you waited long enough to align with a bunch of losers' opinions first? Your credibility is gone... and you killed it by being spineless.

More coverage of the upgraded PSSR on PlayStation 5 Pro. Alan Wake 2 proved highly challenging for the original PSSR, particularly at its native 864p in performance mode. The patched version is another huge improvement: youtu.be/8bhre7EPC5A

@HoegLaw I wonder if they realize how much they messed up releasing that video…? But it has me thinking, with what they’re saying here how can we trust anything they do from now on?

@digitalfoundry “Why we should of waited before posting” It doesn’t matter if it was posted the same hour, the same day, the same week, the same month or the same year, people absolutely do not want this slop in our games

So let me get this straight: Our US Counterterrorism Chief Joe Kent resigns from office and says Iran poses no imminent threat to the United States. He goes on Tucker Carlson’s show and tells the public that Israel forced the US to attack Iran. Now he is under FBI investigation less than 24 hours later? THE JEWISH MAFIA MUST BE STOPPED!

@digitalfoundry This honestly comes off as a hyped in the moment reaction, but the response isn't the greatest either. We cannot continue to have "our opinions" influenced. This includes DF. The biggest issue I think rn is NVIDIA saying people are "wrong". No one can be wrong in their opinions.

Developers at Ubisoft and Capcom found out about DLSS 5 the day that it was unveiled, same time as the public. a Ubisoft developer said “We found out at the same time as the public” Developers at Capcom also told Insider Gaming that the announcement and the studio's involvement were shocking because Capcom has historically been very “anti-AI” with projects such as Resident Evil Requiem. The real question is, who exactly in the game studio partners knew about DLSS 5 before making the decision to let Nvidia implement it. Were there any game artists consulted before giving this the green light? Obviously something doesn't add up here, I feel like the higher-ups of these gaming companies didn't expect DLSS 5 to change their games to that degree and the backlash that would happen, hence why they decided to go for it.

FIRST LOOK: Val Kilmer has been resurrected via AI to star in the new movie "As Deep as the Grave." Kilmer was cast in the movie in 2020, five years before his death. But he was too sick amid his throat cancer battle to ever make it to set. Now an AI version of the actor is appearing in the film, with the full blessing of his daughter, Mercedes: "He always looked at emerging technologies with optimism as a tool to expand the possibilities of storytelling. This spirit is something that we are all honoring within this specific film, of which he was an integral part.” “He was the actor I wanted to play this role,” says writer-director Coerte Voorhees. “It was very much designed around him. It drew on his Native American heritage and his ties to and love of the Southwest... His family kept saying how important they thought the movie was and that Val really wanted to be a part of this. He really thought it was important story that he wanted his name on. It was that support that gave me the confidence to say, okay let’s do this. Despite the fact some people might call it controversial, this is what Val wanted.” wp.me/pc8uak-1lH1PI
