Part of how the news media is still stuck in the past: why not cover what the YouTube guy did with Minnesota day cares? You’d cover a heart-warming viral video with a MN connection- why isn’t a real journalist covering viral newsy videos? I get why journalists who have been covering fraud are defensive - but the audience is focused on fraud NOW. Seize that! It’s new… to them!

If Minneapolis wants to revitalize downtown, they should find a way to open the skyway outside of “office hours”. Pretty absurd the hours are still basically 6am-6pm, only on weekdays. Lots of people living in skyway apartments or visiting downtown staying in hotels. Why shouldn’t they be able to use the skyway to get to the football game or other downtown events, especially in below-zero temperatures?
