Garbage like this is why the entertainment industry keeps suffering from self-sabotage. What makes a script special is that it has a fresh tone & voice- one that feels new, like nothing we’ve seen before. AI rewards the familiar. Plus an inaccurate gratuitous diss on interns. Ugh

I remember that Sony Pictures Animation was gonna make an animated Harold and the Purple Crayon film at one point. Not to mention, both Henry Selick and Spike Jonze tried to make film adaptations too. I bring that up cause I am genuinely baffled by how we got to here.
