@markcrilley No way! 🤯 I would've never known it wasn't originally drawn that way. The toning and shading work in this series is so gorgeous and cinematic, Mark!

During the MIKI FALLS project, I needed to transform a single-page illustration into a double-page one. By extending the foreground on the righthand side of the image, I was able to make the new composition work (I hope!) without having to redraw the original picture.

I realized last night while I was going to bed that yesterday was the 5th anniversary of losing my Grandpa and my hero to cancer. The thought hadn’t popped up until I laid down. That’s really scary- I don’t want to forget about that day ever again, he was so important to me.
