@Jdavis_Halton When a service vehicle is given permission to cross a runway, you go. It looked to me like they came out of a building parallel to the runway and then turned right to cross over it. The plane was literally behind them & then making contact. How r they? Any news? So sad.

Hoping someone can answer this… if you are driving a fire truck on a runway, how do you not see a plane coming into land? I know the weather was poor. I know it must be noisy inside the truck. I understand light pollution. But didn’t anyone see the effing plane? 🧐

Oh boy. Went to charge phone and fave carer said come lay down on the sofa with us. 10 mins later she goes ok I'm going home now. I'm left with carer I can't really understand and would have looked obvious if I just got up and left right then. Styled it out for 30 minutes more.
