While the rest of us are celebrating Artemis II's historic accomplishments for all of humanity, Canada's Prime Minister is celebrating “the first astronaut in history to speak French while en route to the moon.” I mean... they just saw the far side of the moon. But okay, Canada.

I was having a coffee yesterday in a mall in Terrebonne, QC.
I asked a guy sitting nearby whether he was going to vote in the by-election. He said, "Yes. I'm voting Bloc."
I replied, "That's OK. As long as you don't vote Liberal."
He then said, "No way I'm going to vote Liberal. Someone came to me and wanted to hand me a Liberal pamphlet and I told him that he could take his pamphlet and his leader Poilievre and shove it!"
These are the people that select our government.
His vote has as much weight as mine.
That's why I always say, the lower the turnout, the better. If you don't even know who your PM is, or what party he represents, or who the leader of the official opposition is, it is better you stay home and not vote.
Now everything makes sense.
Canadians are gullible and ignorant to a degree you wouldn't believe.

@burnsieoriginal I won’t be too hard on Leaf fans but I do recall their mockery and derision when the Habs were in the bottom of the standings and beginning a rebuild. As one of my leaf-fan buddies told me last week, “I’m not even watching hockey anymore.”
