@MLynall @Camer0nWatson @rcpsych If they opened the survey to non-clinical academics I think they will find considerable rage in us about the lack of pathways for clinical academics. It is beyond stupid.

Excellent piece capturing many of the challenges to making, and maintaining a clinical academic career.
Biggest one for me is inflexibility in clinical training. No scope for clinical or research fellowships outside of PhD in psychiatry @rcpsych.
