@m1geo Good minds and all that 😉. Agree, it makes for much more elegant solution. These generic 1590BB enclosures are low cost and easy to work with being die cast 👍

@MM0OPX My usual trick is to make the PCB fit a dye cast box lid.
You then use the PCB as a drill template and the connectors bold through.
Keeps it good at higher frequencies (VHF UHF here) but also just looks nice.
This one I only went past half the connector.

The all important numbers are in. Nothing untoward. Power relays no good for VHF work.

@gm0nai Good way to do it Jim and bet you dont have any sync problems between both tuners.

Twin SDR RX operational. Doublet on the Airspy & Wellgood Loop on the RSPdx. Sounds pretty decent. I think the sync may be an issue at times and may need to go with 2 x identical SDR's

@g7soz At no point am I saying don't bother trying. However, with my limited time available for operating, if I don't see active WSPR paths then I wont spend much time on that band. If established WSPR beacons cant make the trip, no chance with CW or SSB.

Prepping one of my 40m verticals prior to phasing. These poles are circa 9.5m. As not to fold back I wound 8 turns of wire on a 36mm former at 4.5m from base. Close enough to fine tune later 👌
