Among all the things we heard from the President on Iran today:
—The ceasefire is over, but he doesn't see a return to all-out war
—Negotiations can continue, but he isn't sure he wants a deal
—Iran won't have a nuclear weapon, but we no longer need to take the nuclear material

Pres. Trump suggests the US already has Iran's nuclear material, because it's so far underground "nobody's going to be able to get it except us."
Taking that material was a central goal for starting the war. Now he appears to downplay the threat and say it's no longer necessary.

For all the times the U.S. and Iran have attacked each other since the ceasefire first took effect in April, administration officials and the president himself have always said the ceasefire remained in place.
But today, Pres. Trump says, “I think it’s over.”

The U.S.-Iran MOU, signed three weeks ago, centered on 1) a ceasefire, 2) Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz and 3) the U.S. lifting oil sanctions in exchange. All three of those terms now appear to no longer be in place.
