Its insane how effective FVGs really are.
Its fascinating to see idiots on here saying they suck/ dont work.
Seen a lot of that lately.
When you truly understand which context to use them in get back to me.
This weekend I spent a lot of time figuring out motiwave for order flow. Tbh, I did not find it helpful for my trading style. Will try implement what I’ve learnt and see if it works for me in live markets.
@vedictrades What a strategy hopper.
Correct me if im wrong. Werent you preaching negative RR a few days ago?
Make up your mind.
Proves you were never a good trader.
Again, ill applogize if im wrong.
Stop trying to find a strategy with a 70% win rate that ALSO has a 1:4 RR
It doesn't exist
High RR = lower win rate. Lower RR = higher win rate
Pick one. Build a system around it. Stick to it
I picked low RR + high win rate. It's paid me $2M+
It works
Escaping poverty is easy for traders:
• Go on YouTube.
• Search for a simple strategy.
• Back-test it for 300 trades.
• Make sure it has an actual edge.
• Buy 3 $25,000 prop firm evaluations.
• Pass 1.
• Make 4% a month ($800).
• Use that money to buy 2 $50,000 prop firm evaluations.
• Pass 1.
• Merge your funded accounts (Now you have a $75,000 funded account).
• Make 4% a month ($2,400).
• Buy 3 $100,000 prop firm evaluations.
• Pass 1.
• Merge them (Now you have a $175,000 funded account).
• Make 4% a month ($5,600).
Now you're making $5,600 a month.
This shit really is easy.
Strongly encourage you to take some time and do a performance review for the month of April before tackling the month of May :)
What were your greatest accomplishments?
What were your greatest short-comings?
What are some realistic goals to accomplish more going into May?
When I first started trading I hated the weekends because I was so eager to trade.
As I get older I actually enjoy time away from the markets to spend with friends and family.
Remember to have a life outside of the charts.
I know you are grinding to make trading your main source of income.
Dreaming about those $10k days, that stress free life you’ve always pictured yourself living.
I’ve been there too, I’m here to tell you if you sacrifice the next couple years to this craft, you will see light.
@casper_smc You mean..
“Selling courses sucks and is stressful
Until you quit that job you hate
Until you book a vacation “just because”
Until you tell your family they don’t have to work”
Trading sucks and is stressful
Until you quit that job you hate

Until you tell your family they don’t have to work
Used fixed RR in your trading is so dumb
Why would you aim for fixed 1R, 2R or 3R in your trades when it looks like it will go much further? Or looks like it won’t go that far?
Every trade is unique, different market conditions mean different opportunities
Each trade should be individual or else it doesn’t really work
Stop using prop firms
I’ll admit - it takes longer to build a $1m trading account than it would to get $1m in funding
But it’s so much better in every way
You don’t get your payouts “rejected”
You don’t need to spend weeks grinding evals - you just make profit on your account from the start
You have total freedom on what you want to do with your money
I get it - prop firms seem easy
But the % chance of you making it with trading is already pretty low - the % of people who make consistent prop firm payouts is even LOWER
You’re making it more difficult for yourself for no real reason
My continuation model is simple…
Price trades to the midpoint (5m / 15m / 1H).
Then I align HTF → wait for displacement.
“I want you to be watching price… not using tools as a crutch”
The entry?
Not the tap.
The reaction.
Displacement → IFVG → execution.
If there’s no displacement…
there’s no trade.
Midpoint isn’t the entry
it’s the setup for delivery.
