🚨 SCHOOL RECORD 🚨 Ben Hayes ’28 is the Sectional Champion in the 100m and broke the Rockhurst school record in a blazing time of 10.51! Ben is now #6 in all of Missouri this season and will run at next week’s State Meet in Jeff City. Way to go, Ben - Rock State!

@RSHS_Football @MissouriScoop Heres an unpopular opinion because it involves work and accountability. Cut blocks are for sissies. Real men hit the weight room.

Sorry…lots of rule changes/systematic overhauls I’d like to see…not just one: 1. Allow the cut block at all levels (not on special teams though) 2. Knee pads…if they have them all good…who cares if they’re above the knee 3. Allow Coach to a single player electronic coms 4. This is for MSHSAA: change from regional districts to statewide seeding based on their already established point system. 5. Also MSHSAA: State playoffs end on Thanksgiving weekend 6 Another MSHSAA: reduce number of teams in postseason so we can get rid of “blowout week” the first week of playoffs. In doing so give teams who aren’t in postseason opportunity to set up a game with another team who didn’t make it. 7. No dead ball on offsides unless defender is unabated to QB. Allow defenders to get back but also give offenses opportunity for free play. 8. Not a rule change but make sure all officials are well versed in the illegal man downfield rule.

QOTD: What's one high school football rule you'd love to see removed/changed? Ours.. Change the rule where if your ball-carriers knee touches the ground, he's down and plays dead. Adopt the NFL rule where runners are "down by contact". This would be an easy change to the rules.

Great day at the Benedictine College Camp, competing and learning from a great coaching staff. Thank you to @CoachKHarrisBC for the invite, and to @JoelOsborn_BC, @CoachRoseIvey, @heathbaker_BC, and the entire D-Line staff for the feedback and coaching throughout the camp.
