@Volta1228 context here is still a little different tbf. Matt,= in this clip, says they shouldn't be working for a corporation that attacks the innocent, whereas in s2e5 he showed less sympathy for a known criminal. He had to be convinced of taking Grotto in during s2 netflix as well.

Watching this just reinforces to me my original reaction that flashback Matt was written OOC in 2x5 (Foggy too) and it bothered me. They kinda inverted them for narrative's sake.

I've seen people make the argument that they move office or that they moved after getting promoted but A. The show clearly implies that they have been in this broom closet the whole time while interning B. Matt convinced Foggy to leave L&Z before getting the Job
