@satsmonkes @MeteoraAG @met_lparmy I have a similar strategy going but I’ve mistimed the top. What are you looking for before you switch to the wide strategy? And wouldn’t spot be better for the wide strategy since you make fees no matter where the price lands?

🎩 Spot or Bid-Ask on memecoins isn't a preference, it's a cold risk/reward decision milords. I run two completely different setups on @MeteoraAG depending on where the token is in its life cycle, and most LPers still mess this up because they just copy whatever shape they saw in a guide instead of actually knowing what they want out of the position. Both single-sided SOL. Both different intentions. Both different RR. Slap the wrong one on at the wrong time and you're leaking even on a pool that's printing like crazy. Here's the real split. 👇

@gaucho_DeFi V interesting You’re basically giving yourself some room at the top to let the runners run. The risk is if it rugs you lose more but if the initial screening is done well that shouldn’t happen.

Still talking about ape in setup, I play it “safe” by not aping in 50/50 SOL/Token. I do -49 bins at the bottom and 20 bins at the top. If you set your ape-in to 10 SOL, for example, it will still add 5 SOL and the equivalent of 5 SOL in tokens. But with my setup, it will be concentrated in the token part, and if it oscillates there, you’ll earn good fees. On the other hand, if your timing isn’t perfect, you’ll have a larger range at the bottom in SOL to make up fees and “DCA” your entry, reducing risk slightly.

Time to study my LP friends! This is exactly how I’ve executed most of my plays on @MeteoraAG for the last couple of months, and it’s been quite profitable. I call it my Ape In/Zap Out Strategy. I know many of you already use it in your own way, so I just thought it could be useful to someone if I shared my own. Please be aware of the following: > It’s risky; take it easy before sizing up. > Don’t strictly copy it; adapt to your risk tolerance. > It’s probably not sustainable to use only this strategy, but it’s handy to have as an option.

@EvilPanda Haven’t looked into this coin, just curious how did you know it’s not a wash or a rug. It seems to me that the older the coin gets the riskier it is to LP it. But I’m definitely missing something here

This was a good coin last week, pumped multiple times to let us earn great fees. LazyPandaBot earned nearly 2sol for this coin alone over multiple days. With lower volume but more tvl, the game has changed so we have to adapt to the new meta too with new tools like automated bot DLMM. Some coins can last multiple days which is good to LP with but the reduced volume makes manual LP tiring, so we need to use bots to grind out the fees. Not new to LPing - I've been doing steady fees on ETH chains for a couple of years. Solana is a whole other beast - but I saw the potential. Started proper on @MeteoraAG mid April. Results so far are promising. Extremely grateful for the tools and the community @met_lparmy I know its early, but I firmly have my eyes set on becoming LP_King 👑

20 to 200 SOL Challenge | Day 20* Good volume this weekend, but my greed and overconfidence led to a loss. One silly mistake and not cutting losses quickly enough, and poof. Profit gone. 💸 I was +3 SOL in the green, but a couple of positions made my profit disappear in a pump that never came. Gotta pray more this week to overcome the greed and do better. 🙏🏻 *I still have open positions, so I need to wait to close them for an updated status.

akhir-akhir ini kalau lagi nunggu limit Claude habis reset, gua minta dia ngasih rekomendasi buku. prompt-nya simpel: "dari semua sessions kita, berikan 2 rekomendasi buku yang cocok untuk saya." dia baca 3 bulan context session gua, semua yang gua build, semua yang gua tanyain, semua problem yang gua hadapin, terus dia rekomendasiin Thinking, Fast and Slow. dan jujur, ini relate banget buat yang lagi develop AI agent. buku ini ngebahas dua sistem berpikir: System 1 yang cepat, intuitif, dan sering salah. System 2 yang lambat, analitis, dan butuh effort. waktu lu build agent, lu lagi nge-design sistem pemikiran buatan. dan kalau lu ga ngerti gimana bias dan heuristic itu kerja di otak manusia, lu bakal build agent yang punya blind spot yang sama persis kayak manusia, tanpa sadar. gua baru mulai, tapi udah ngerasa kenapa Claude rekomendasiin ini ke gua. ada rekomendasi buku lain? khususnya yang relate buat AI, agent design, atau decision making.

@EvilPanda I like how you're sharing both your wins & the losses and not only the wins. i got rugged earlier this week too, but it was the best thing that could've happened because it allowed me to improve my bot. Only been DLMMing for 2 weeks so long way to go.

Not a great day yesterday, LazyPandaBot got rugged twice. I checked and realized perhaps my cut loss criteria was too loose, so I went to tighten it and it managed to reduce the losses from over 6sol to just over 3sol. We really never know what problems out bot will run into until we run it live. So it will always be an ongoing job to keep updating the bot. The grind never ends. @met_lparmy @MeteoraIDN @MeteoraAG

Here is how I turned a -50% loss to a +20% profit. Last night my bot found solana:GUfyGEF62BUUqj5f5PveZknhBQMWWFSXm2jqAdikpump - usually it asks me but because of a recent update it decided to enter on its own. It made 10% and closed the position, I was in a meeting and saw the gud fee tek & felt pretty good about myself. Fast forward a couple of hours and it had re-entered and was sitting at over -50% loss and to top it off it was completely out of range. LOL I decided to take over to manage it manually - Why? Because it passed most of my filters - and except it being a MUSK token, i didnt see anything obvously wrong with it. Plus it was in the first 24 hour of its life so I expecting atleast another pump to help me exit. Stayed up till 4AM until it recovered enough to net me another 10% profit. lesson for me was Preparation + patience over emotions.

Imagine closing in big loss, two positions, both out of range... just to watch the coin pump 1 hour later, siting again in both ranges. The pain is real... @crimexbt @olawande0x

@gaucho_DeFi its only way to learn. Thankfully position sizes are small and I only lost some of what I had already made earlier this week. But it exposed alot about my strategy and how to play this game. So all good brother
