Today your local Neighbourhood Police Teams conducted a proactive traffic operation with our Traffic Police colleagues on Scrubs Lane aimed at keeping our roads safe and taking offenders of the streets. We had use of Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras amongst other kit

The enquiries proved positive with an arrest and more intelligence gathered in finding outstanding suspects. 💪🏼

This all happened by local officers patrolling on foot,talking & getting to know their community and building trust with the residents. Lots of residents know the officers by first name and this helps build confidence in our local policing.

Male remanded in custody this afternoon after breaching a criminal behaviour order which has a power of arrest if he enters the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The male is a prolific thief he was also charged with common assault and theft in Portobello Road.
