Watch as police officers confront a man suspected of carrying out a terrorist attack in north London where two men were stabbed. The suspect refused to show his hands, was violent and continued to pose a clear threat. Using only their training, courage and tasers, they detained him while he continued to try to attack and stab them. This took true courage.

A repeat offender linked to 26 crimes such as burglaries and thefts from motor vehicles is back in custody. He attempted to flee in a nearby river when officers attended his home but was quickly located by the dog unit and arrested. 👏 Another prolific offender taken off our streets thanks to PD Bowser & his handler.

A police van gave chase to a Smart car driven by a not-so-smart suspect. Officers skilfully weaved in and out of rush‑hour traffic to apprehend the driver, who mounted pavements and ran red lights at dangerous speeds. Just because it’s a van, it doesn’t mean it can’t keep up!

What started as a routine patrol in Walthamstow quickly turned into a pursuit. When officers tried to stop the rider, he made off, crashing into an officer’s bike. He was later arrested after a chase and found in possession of drugs and a sword.

Three mopeds, three very bad getaway plans. Caught by the interceptors in under two minutes and it was game over.

Well, that’s one way to start 2026! Our officers were out at midnight on New Year’s Eve, pursuing a dangerous suspect. Great work by our officers and @NPAShq to safely stop and arrest this individual.

Police officers have recovered £2 million worth of stolen tools from a warehouse in Ilford believed to be the largest haul ever found in the UK. Three suspects have been arrested, suspected of running an organised criminal network selling stolen equipment.
