For the British Science Week poster competition on ‘Time’. We had lots of fantastic entries. Unfortunately we could only select 5 entries as a school. Thank you so much to everyone that took part in the competition @MpYear5@school_mount
We were very lucky today to have a number of visitors. They talked to the children about STEM and jobs that involved using scientific skills. @MPyear5@school_mount
It was wonderful getting to listen to our favourite @MaryAliceEvans in our English lesson today - we absolutely loved getting our questions answered and getting some amazing writing advice as we finished off our short stories!
Just a few shots from our exciting visit to Enginuity last week. What a fabulous museum with plenty of hands on activities, and all in the heart of start of the Industrial Revolution! @school_mount@MPYear5
Year 5 have had a brilliant time trying to recreate the viaduct we saw at Enginuity last week. We are very lucky to be the first class to try out the new giant Lego bricks. @school_mount@MpYear5
@school_mount We had a very informative visit from our local PCSOs. They delivered a workshop all about anti-social behaviour and the effects it has on people’s lives. The whole class was very mature during discussion and sharing their ideas.
Our new topic, Ground-breaking Greeks, was launched in Year 5 today! We worked together in teams to produce life size images, fact files and raps about our given God. How amazing are these images drawn by Year 5? We will upload some examples of the raps soon!
