Biggest @DPWorldTour evening for ages. Two kiwis in contention. And @skysportnz is only showing the YouTube channel (two groups battling for last place). Devastating. Please help someone !!!

@thomasdunne Think about how creative you could get…. 100 yard kickers, bonus points for shot shapes etc…

@MP_Goldstein This was one of my main issues with it, as well! Fitzpatrick’s approach on 1 should have been over the cliff edge. As in real life, firm and fast plus wind effects equals excitement.

Even with the unrestrained flex of being played on virtual holes, TGL was 100% target golf…. (I stopped watching after 7 holes so maybe after that there might have been some “roll” on the fairways.)

The skills required to be a successful batsman are somewhat paradoxical: The mental application, tactical awareness and technical ability of a 40-year-old but the physical prowess and lack of off-field responsibilities of a 20-year-old. Read more: battingmentality.com/lessons-learne….

We may not play for US size $ but playing in top events, great courses and good crowds makes u feel the butterflies, cut, card or tournament on the line….it matters. Pressure, creating drama in places around the world that have culture, character, allure and top fans

Incredible heathland planting on ⁦@VicGolfClub#7. If you want to argue golf courses are bad for the environment tell me where else in Melbourne you find such expansive, indigenous heathlands.

I hope you’ll indulge me with this tweet. On our trip to the west coast last week we had a real age range in the group. 20s to 70s. One of the older members posted this to our WhatsApp group this morning. I really liked it - ‘I'd like to offer one last 'lesson learned' from an older guy to my new younger friends. You may recall: When a railing is available, use it - falling hurts, bones break. When a urinal is available, use it - a full bladder with nowhere to pee is no bueno. The last 'lesson learned' is on my new hat: "Don't let the old man in." Google it. Toby Keith wrote it and sings it. Getting older happens, but sometimes becoming "an old man" is a choice. As years accumulate, we can choose to "let the old man in" or to keep him at bay. As you think about the older fellas on our trip, not one has let the old man in. “Old men” stay home on the couch. Our guys trekked around Scotland with their golf clubs. It’s a big world, full of interesting people, and they wanted to experience more of it. Good men, each and every one. When it’s your turn, if you can, be like them. Your gracious acceptance helped keep my old man at bay a good while longer.’

After spending the last 4 weeks working & traveling in Europe, I’m impressed by how healthy & vibrant people are over here. Paris, Nice, Rome & Amalfi Coast. Has working in the States for the past 15 years damaged my perception of healthy people or is their food just better?

Might be my favourite ever gold medal. To essentially complete women’s golf at age 27, win the total set of Olympic medals in only three tries all while conducting herself as a proud Kiwi and truly good person. She is a history maker, an icon and now an immortal. Thanks Lyds! 🖤

Doesn’t get much better than a bluebird day at Barnbougle Dunes playing with your Dad. Coming back from dormie 3 down to get the half was an added bonus 😂 Golf in its purest form 👌 #Barnbougle
