Now that the dust has settled this is my ideal offseason wishlist for the cougs: Retain: Mister Dean Colby Duggan Martin Kalu Christian Reeves Chris Davis Jr. Chadlyn Traylor Will Mortimore Djordje Curcic Lose: Chol Machot Bryce Baker Jaxon Prunty Jlynn Counter Connor Hickman Kendall Taylor Sign: 1. A veteran point guard who can score, create his own shot and distribute the ball 2. A legitimate 3 and D wing who is elite at 3 point shooting 3. A large bodied 5 who can give you 10 rebounds a game 4. A post player at the 4 who can score in the mid range and rebound the ball 5. Another 3 point shooting wing 6. A defensive minded guard who can disrupt the ball and deny entry into the paint.

Last thoughts on the game. For the most part I really loved our players this year. There are a couple I don’t think cared a ton, but for the most part I thought we had some heart on the team. I wish Jlynn and Connor nothing but the best moving forward. Jlynn is one of my all time favorite cougars. I think Chris has a ceiling that’s higher than the moon. And I really hope we can keep reeves, Duggan and Kalu.

Today’s ruling allows Hickman to re-join the team until further Order of the Court! @MPepLaw lead attorney of The Peper Law Firm in Charleston, South Carolina issued the following statement: “Connor’s a winner, and he’s thrilled that today’s Order allows him to continue competing with his teammates against as they compete for the regular season and CAA tournament championship. Connor and his fiancé love Cougar Nation, and he’s extremely grateful for all the support shown by the best basketball fans in America.”

@ryanhammer09 Totally agree. What sucks worse is that he was diagnosed with a broken foot after game 9 last year but never told that surgery was an option (much less the best option) and told to keep playing until he shut himself down. Cincy admitted it. NCAA ignored it. Absurd.

NCAA rule for medical redshirt eligibility is max 30% of games played in a season. Connor played in 13/35 games last year (37%) so technically shouldn’t have gotten the 5th year. That being said, with some of these dudes getting insane eligibility, that sucks
