Tower Hamlets Council have decided "The Pink Ladies" as a far-right group and ban their protests. I support the council's decision and hope other council follows. They are not innocent, pink wearing concerned mothers and grandmothers, they are filled with hate and intimidate vulnerable refugees.

Arson attack on a mosque in Peacehaven, East Sussex last night. Two people in balaclavas poured liquid at the entrance and also near a parked car and set it alight. It is one of several Islamophobic attacks on mosques in the past few months.

I am horrified by the news of an attack at a synagogue in Manchester today, on the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. My first thoughts are with the victims, our brave police and emergency services.
