The Monke sale skewed our NomNoms points system and widened the gap between members more than intended. We heard the feedback. We’re correcting it with three concrete changes to issuance and distribution: 1) New badges to reward contribution beyond the sale •Nomu OG 2025 (active member in the Holders Hub) •Nomu Fan 2025 (held at least $100 of $NOMU + an OG NFT throughout 2025) •Staking 2025 (Genesis Season stakers with a minimum score of 50) •The Collector (for consistent badge collectors) Together, these badges will grant our most active OG members ~6,000 additional NomNoms. That reduces the Top 1 vs Top 50 gap from ~10x to ~3x, while rewarding contribution more broadly. 2) Daily NomNoms update We’re increasing the daily cap: •10 → 30 NomNoms/day (excluding badges and special events) •Up to ~10,000 NomNoms/year for active members This strengthens the base going forward. NomNoms are a community bonus, not a pressure tool. 3) Future sales recalibration + anti-wash trading We will recalibrate NomNoms issuance on future sales and remove incentives for wash trading tied to points. Farming points is not what we want to be about. We're still learning a lot, we miscalibrated this distribution, and we’ll keep iterating. We won't be perfect in the future but will always listen, and build this together with the Nomunity. All changes will be fully implemented by end of next week. Thank you for the feedback. WAGEW 🧡
