Perp DEXs that actually add gamification and real competition with cash prizes have a clear edge over the usual "farm points and pray for an airdrop" model. Right now, there aren't that many doing it properly. Here are a few I've been watching: @variational_io Already ran 2 competitions with $20k prize pools each. Winners also got exclusive team merch. Next one is planned around RWA markets. @bulktrade Right now they've got a $50k competition live, but the funny part is it's on testnet. You trade fake tokens and still win real USDC. Had a small incident yesterday so they paused it temporarily - keep an eye on their Discord for the restart. @ProprXYZ Decentralized perp prop firm on @HyperliquidX. You pay an entry fee for a challenge, they give you a much bigger deposit to trade (e.g. $60 entry gets you $5k), and you keep 80% of the profits. @novadotmarkets Mix of HIP-3/HIP-4 markets. You can propose a listing (e.g. something hyped like). If approved on Hyperliquid, you earn 10% of trading fees from that market - permanently. @grvt_io $20k tournament live right now (ends in 2 days). I have been looking deeply into @ProprXYZ and they were kind enough to give me a $5000 USDC challenge for my testing. My trading on Crypto has always been horrific, so taking my results aside (about 1% down) I'm going to give me impressions so far. Propr functions very differently to CFD or futures prop firms. Its cost of entry is fairly high, and the way you trade is in USDC as opposed to contracts or lots that I am used to. The available leverage is low but that is a necessity because of the assets you are most likely trading, crypto coins beside btc. Which is great for those who have an interest in that space and can understand the fundamentals there, which I am far from a specialist. The traditional assets / USDC pairs aren't really worth trading because of the cost to trade (needs more leverage). The trading platform is fairly standard for a crypto exchange, it needs refreshing regularly incase some data is stuck but is functional and easily accessible to everyone. It has decent risk functions too so you can set your stops/take profits quickly and easily. But as mentioned its very standard. Where propr gets me is the API availability. The possibility of being successful in this space with so many assets to analyze is via automation. To the best of my knowledge no cfd or futures prop has an API access available to run algos on. This is very important for crypto I believe as some of the market making strategies are still viable due to low liquidity which is an opportunity for smart but economically capped individuals who understand market dynamics and how to profit from that type of activity. I haven't been able to set up my automated crypto strategy on the API because my devs have been busy so I chose to test manually. They have also published their a/b selection strategy, knowing full well that most traders fail they have open sourced their way to select who goes on A and who stays on B. This can be found here: github.com/XBorgLabs/ab-b… This is my wheelhouse, and this strategy published is a bit dated, I sounded it off on a few specialists I know as well and all of them had the same consensus. I dont know how applicable it is for crypto as I have never tested on crypto, but on CFD's it wouldn't work effectively unless the intention is only to minimize losses on the B. Which I am still an advocate for. With liquidity being super thin on some of these assets as well I am not sure how performance would be, however, massive respect for publishing it clearly and transparently. If crypto is your vibe, then Propr is definitely an option for prop. I haven't tested their competition, because crypto isn't my market and I struggle to trade it. Just like shopping in a department store, having too many options often confuses me and crypto has so many options to trade. For this test I have been sticking with solana, with mixed results but I think I am starting to see how it moves. Maybe I will get lucky. I'll keep going and continue testing/reporting what I see.

Mon avis sur @ProprXYZ 👇 J'utilise comme comparaison la propfirm Breakout que j'ai déjà utilisé dans le passé. Niveau interface je préfère mieux celle de Propr. Plus visible et facile à comprendre. Niveau prix c'est plus ou moins la même chose pour les différents comptes proposés. Après, petit point négatif, c'est que le graphique n'est pas interactif. On ne peut pas dessiner et voir les prix avec précision. Je sais pas si je suis le seul qui dis ça mais si je suis pas le seul, ajoutez svp les charts interactives comme sur TradingView. 🙏 Après au niveau des payouts je sais pas encore. Faut valider le compte! 🤪
