Older people complaining that they shouldn’t have to pay property taxes once their homes are paid off are a big reason why we’re *all* going to lose our homes when today’s young people are in charge. If you want police and fire protection, pay your taxes. Don’t be a freeloader.

@ClistonBrown @TJH314 Just saying it’s not workable doesn’t make it not workable. Free market is more than capable of providing security and safety. They are certainly capable of doing it cheaper than the government. This is laughable.

@TJH314 First of all, that’s not workable. Second, even if it were workable, you’d be paying more that way than you would in taxes, which spread the risk.
