The fee we Quaidians pay already very low, and many of them don’t even pay it on time. This is a public university, but that does not mean the government only funds one university in Pakistan or provides all resources to a single institution. Now look at their demands. Every single one is only meant to pressure the administration so they can sit in exams. In August 2025, the Economic Coordination Committee approved a Rs 2 billion bailout package for Quaid-i-Azam University to resolve a severe financial crisis. While approved, reports indicated in early 2026 that only 25 % funds approximately Rs500 million were released, leading to continued delays in clearing massive liabilities and paying staff. Nowhere demands of the teachers who are suffering ,those who are not being paid their salaries on time, and those who teach additional courses without salaries. In many cases, even the teachers at Quaid-e-Azam University do not receive their salaries Why is no pressure being placed by teachers for their rights in the same way? Despite these issues, the teachers are still continuing to teach the students.They are not doing strikes,not disrupting education system.Hatts off to all teachers.Thank you. There is an immediate and strong need to increase student fees to address the current financial crisis. However, the university has still not increasing fee significantly.Just a slight increase and remain lower than those of many other public universities. With the current fee structure, teachers are not being paid properly. This is not the fault of the university administration, but rather the responsibility of the government, which is not providing sufficient funds. Unfortunately, this situation is being faced by many institutions across Pakistan not only in Qau. These demands are just another propaganda to sit in exams. This reflects the firm, resolute, & unwavering leadership & commitment expected of Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Vice Chancellor, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. No academic disruption will be tolerated. The culture of strikes and the forceful closure at QAU has to end. #QAU
If respect and dignity are truly the principles of the Quaidian Students Federation (QSF), then they must be reflected not only in statements but in conduct as well.🚫🚫 First allegations with abusive language and then gave threats to our acting respected Vc. Respect is not something to be declared after saying all this shit, it ishould be demonstrated in real time. Just posting this statement after threatenning our VC is not enough.We demand a proper inquiry and lawful action against this union cult found responsible for threatening and abusing our respected Vice-Chancellor.🚨🚨🚨 Academic institutions must remain safe and respectful spaces, and any attempt to create fear or disrupt order undermines discipline and the rule of law.
