Well said! The tension you’re calling out isn’t just speed vs. control, it’s visibility vs. friction: the more observable your system is, the less you need to slow it down with heavy controls. The teams that get this right treat resilience as a byproduct of good instrumentation and fast learning, not extra process layered on top.

In my experience, resilience strengthens operations when it is embedded into everyday workflows rather than treated as a compliance exercise. AI can accelerate decision making and execution but if governance, accountability and process discipline don't scale alongside it, operational gaps emerge quickly. The biggest gains often come from building resilient feedback loops. Clear ownership, continuous monitoring and the ability to adapt processes rapidly. The trade off is that additional controls can sometimes slow innovation and execution in the short term. The challenge is finding the balance where resilience acts as an enabler of sustainable growth rather than a barrier to speed.
