@rupamurthy1 So when her brother knew about conversation like this, what did he do ? Why didn't her parents object or intervene in this ?

When #Twisha Sharma complained to her mother-in-law that she was being abused and called a “Ra*di” by her son, Giribala Singh’s response allegedly was: “So you told us that you had dated multiple people in the past, before marriage. You said there was intimacy too. So did you do it as a favour? Did you do it for monetary benefits? I have worked with prostitutes in Deshampura. Some people do it out of compulsion. Some sell their bodies to earn. But some people do it to climb the social ladder. Is there anything like that with you? Will you continue your past promiscuous behaviour in the future too?” According to an alleged audio tape conversation between Giribala Singh/her family and Twisha’s brother, Major Harshit Sharma, being released by Republic TV. And yes, she also nonchalantly admits that her son Samarth was held back in college for two years because of drug abuse. Imagine confiding in your in-laws about verbal abuse inside your marriage, only to be interrogated about your past relationships and compared to sex workers instead. #CancelGiribalasBail

@DeepikaBhardwaj When the matter is already under trial in the court, media trial will only malign both sides. Truth must come out through investigation, and justice must prevail. In our country, dowry deaths are real & so is schizophrenic behavior. The matter is sensitive.

I really hope Judges of MP HIGH COURT are watching this lady. In just 5 months of marriage, she wanted a newly wed bride to water the plants, supervise the cook, bear a child for her next generation...how sick is this woman? Hope they cancel her bail

@NamitaBalyan Very true. Just walk off when the weight of the relationship is too heavy to carry. Nor be a burden for others. Life is precious.

If you are a female who got married either love or arranged and you don't feel comfortable/right and are harassed, taunted, suppressed by your husband or in-laws, DON'T FUCKING CRY AND BEG YOUR PARENTS AND FRIENDS TO LET YOU OUT, TAKE YOU AWAY. JUST LEAVE THE DAMN PLACE. Your life is NOT a property of anyone else to permit, rescue or allow. JUST LEAVE. 🙏🏻💔

@deebayleaf Divorce is easy, but it becomes difficult when women make it way for seeking lifetime financial support without any responsibility. More than women, her family is more interested in her maintenance, alimony, child support so that they don't have to bear her financially.

@protagonist_xig It's just half truth. The other side should come out, too. Five months ki shaadi me pregnant bhi ho gayi aur miscarriage bhi hua and husband asking abort kyu kiya, then there is certainly something more in this story which should come out.

@Benarasiyaa That's a common feeling people get during the initial months of marriage. Shaadi kar ke phas gaya, dhokha ho gaya, these are common among both men and women.

@Imdead108_ybc No, she should not. From what she described, it appears that BF want more humble and housewife material. High performing working women's have their own professional commitments and can not afford to lose their peace and energy to teach the significance of the attached washroom.

@Nalanda_BR21 Ok. So do you know that couple, woh aap ki taraf ke hai ? Secondly, what I meant from pre-wedding is Haldi, Mehndi, etc. which are pre wedding ceremonies, quite popular in North India.

@Nalanda_BR21 @azizkavish Dost, jinki shadi hai agar unke exam date shaadi ki date pe hai toh shaadi ki date generally postpone ki jaati hai. Considering that Pre wedding ceremonies/rituals are time-consuming, exam ki tayyari disturb hoti hai, stress badhta hai aur score pe inka asar padta hai.

@Hazel_qs Why does an underage girl share her period details with a 12 yr old boy ? Why talking of menstrual health so hyped that people don't wanna wait for boys to reach proper age before they are introduced to it ? Why disrespect/taunts to parent who are raising them is normal ?

My dad used to call periods “gross.” Said men shouldn’t hear about “women’s stuff.” Last week, my 12-year-old brother asked me what periods were like. One of his friends had gotten hers at school, and he didn’t want to embarrass her. So I explained it. Cramps. Mood swings. Pain. Chocolate helps. From the kitchen, my dad shouted: “Stop talking about that disgusting crap. Boys don’t need to know about it.” Before I could respond, my little brother looked him dead in the eye and said: “That’s why mom divorced you.” The whole house went silent. My dad froze for a second… then walked away without saying a word. My brother turned back to me like nothing happened and asked: “So… what kind of chocolate should I buy her?”

@Adi89736381 @MrPitbull07 Even annulment requires filing lawsuit in Kuwait. Nothing instant. Anyways, it isn't about annulment or divorce, it's about narrative. It's different. You missed it completely.

@MSShekh_ @MrPitbull07 It's not a divorce it's an annulment. It's different. The men who react this way deserve to be demonized because they will be much worse later on, behind closed doors.

In Kuwait, a newly married couple became the focus of worldwide attention for what many described as one of the shortest marriages ever recorded. Shortly after signing the official documents at the courthouse and becoming husband and wife, the couple was leaving the building when the bride accidentally tripped in front of everyone. Instead of helping her or showing concern, the groom reportedly reacted by insulting her, calling her “stupid” on their wedding day. Those words deeply hurt the woman, who in that moment realized something important about the relationship she had just entered. Without hesitation, she turned around, immediately went back into the courtroom, and asked the judge to annul the marriage. Her request was granted on the spot, and the union ended just minutes after it had been officially registered, going down in history as one of the fastest divorces ever in the country. The story went viral on social media, where thousands of people supported the bride’s decision, emphasizing how essential mutual respect is from the very beginning of any relationship. For many, this story became a powerful reminder: sometimes, just a few moments are enough to understand who someone truly is. 💔

@iamankitpande Nothing wrong, wives are impulsive, don't take their words on face value.Bech do creta, gussa hogi, customised jewellery gift kar do,sab theek. Disagreements, altercations, fighting over skirmishes, forgiving each other and making it again is part and parcel of marriage.

A relative of mine got a brand new Hyundai Creta in his wedding. Not demanded. Not asked. Just a gift from the bride’s family to their son in law. The guy is already well settled. Professor in a university. Family business. Already owns an Innova Crysta. So after 4 months, he decided to sell the Creta because it was barely being used and buy a small hatchback like Swift or WagonR for daily city driving. The moment he started talking to dealers, his wife stopped the deal and said: This is MY car. Papa gave it to ME. Who are you to sell it? If you want another car then buy it with your own money. Huge argument happened. Then the husband called his in laws. And surprisingly, her own parents said: We gave that car to our damad ji, not our daughter. He can sell it, break it, or throw it away if he wants. After hearing this, the husband silently handed over the keys to his wife and left for university. Hasn’t spoken to her for the last 3 days. Crazy how a marriage can go from wedding vows to cold war over a car in just 4 months. Sometimes marriages don’t fail because of lack of money. They fail because ego enters before understanding. Who do you think was wrong here?

@iamankitpande Dont worry,he will get over it,will take some time to rebound. Many a times we slowly kill a relationship with prejudice that it won't work. No relationship works unless we work for it. The court cases are due to bride's family who view a failed marriage as loss of investment.

One wrong marriage destroyed a man’s entire life. One of my friend’s elder brothers loved a girl who was 2 years older than him and also manglik. He told his family clearly: Age does not matter to me. We can do the worship for manglik if needed. I just want to marry the person I love. But his family refused. They pressured him emotionally, separated them, and arranged his marriage with another girl. From the first day of marriage, there was no happiness in his life. Slowly he got separated from his parents and brother. He shifted to another city with his wife. Whenever he tried talking to his family or meeting old friends, fights started at home. One day he finally said he wanted divorce. After that, a dowry and harassment case was filed against him and his family. He spent 2 days in jail. Later, they settled the matter after giving jewellery and ₹16 lakh. Today that man lives alone. He barely talks. Barely smiles. He just works silently and survives somehow. His younger brother says: My brother’s life changed the day he was forced to leave the girl he truly loved. Sometimes parents think they are protecting their family honour. But forcing someone to marry against their heart can destroy an entire life.

@yunshabnami Same with men's, no father wants to give their unmarried daughters to divorced men as well. Marriage is personal but wedding is public affair and hence tried to status and family reputation. Shackles are strong enough to strangle any emotional connection.

Every father wants his divorced daughter to rebuild her life & settle again, but when it comes to his own son, he often rejects a divorced woman. People tend to value society’s opinions more than their son’s happiness.

The Forgotten ‘Man’ 👨‍⚖️
Women think they can abuse the relationship and do what ever they want in the name of freedom. If husband stops her she cry.. Wives cry for husbands’ money but don’t obey even when it’s about the dignity of a man.. Husband did the right thing.. Big salute to the husband🫡
