Just came back from my vacation trip to Tampa Bay Florida and my cousin is a Playstation gamer but he ain't indulged in the online gaming news. I tried out Ghost Of Yotei and It's automatically trash based off the fact that i had to use that uncomfortable awkward made Playstation controller. It would be much better if it was on XBOX or even PC. Only thing i can say is that the game is very cinematic through and through but that couldn't save it from being overall less impressive than AC Shadows to me. Not sure about the story because i didn't play it long enough to give feedback on that. Also the other thing that I notice is that most Playstation gamers that aren't indulged the online gaming news probably have no idea what games are exclusive to Playstation or even know what 1st Playstation games are coming out based off the convo had with my cousin. Hell he didn't even know what the term "1st party" meant. He literally didn't even know that Ghost Of Yotei was a game that was made by Playstation own in house studio and is exclusive to Playstation and didn't know that Playstation even had a Wolverine game about to release this year. I asked him did he play any of the Horizon games (Zero Dawn and Forbidden West) and he said hell nawl he aint he aint buying that weird looking shit and I bust out laughing 😂😂😂 he said he never played GT7, and none of the Spiderman games. He did play God Of War 2018 and said it was good but still never finished it and didn't play Ragnarok at all. I asked him why he always buy a Playstation every generation and he said its the most popular console so he assume that got to mean its the best. I asked him did having the most popular girl in school back in the day make her the best girl to have as your main and he looked at me and said "now why u wanna make shit make sense" and I said im just asking a question lol. I plugged up my XBOX Series X that I brung with me and I put him on that Halo Infinite online multiplayer and he was having the time of his life. We was on that game for at least 4 hours straight. We also got on Gears 5 campaign co-op and it was like old times again when we was kids and we used to game together. We didn't get to finish the whole campaign because of other stuff we did with the family outside the house but now he want to buy a XBOX Series X to finish Gears 5 and play other Gears and Halo games Co-Op. I showed him Gears Of War E-Day gameplay trailer and he was blown away and when he seen that it was only on XBOX he was like "thats it Im getting a XBOX Series X my next paycheck" 😂😂😂 #XBOX #PowerYourDreams

@Puertorock77_ Also I've seen many xbots lie and say you will be able to copy your disk and then sell it on. That's not how it will work. As discs aren't writable it also means no xbox will work offline. Each console will need to be online to verify the disc license. Its not good for xbox.

So I’m seeing hype of Xbox pushing disc to digital program as a clap back to use against Sony. Umm you do realize if the program is true, it’s because they are also getting rid of physical disc. They want to you to trade a physical license for a digital one.

@K__Med You are wrong about being able to digitise the disk and then be able to sell or trade it. There is no way xbox or other publishers will allow it. What it does is make your disks useless. It also means everyone will have to be online so xbox can check the disc numbers.

Microsoft’s testing Disc2Digital — basically turning eligible Xbox One/Series discs into digital licenses tied to your account. You keep the disc for resale, lending, or offline play, then digitize it for convenience, Play Anywhere, and cloud. Pros: ✅ Hybrid setup is a win. You keep the physical perks but future‑proof the collection. ✅ Helps Microsoft keep people in the ecosystem and push Game Pass/DLC money. Cons/Caveats: ❌ Only Xbox One/Series discs — no 360 or OG Xbox. ❌ There might be fees, and once it’s digital, it’s still just a license that can be yanked. Depends on whatever fine print they sneak in. Feels like a smart bridge toward an all‑digital future while Sony is busy killing physical outright. Not a real ownership fix, but if Microsoft pitches it right, it’ll earn them some goodwill.

@Pirat_Nation Truth is xbox can no longer be a competitive platform rival to PlayStation. Too much damage has been done. But a big multiplatform publisher is easy for them. But I suspect Asha will ignore his advice and try and do both which will end xbox.

The console industry is becoming exhausting. Layoffs, canceled projects, rising prices, no unique experiences or technologies. Xbox in chaos, Sony chasing profits ignoring its core fanbase, Nintendo heading the same way. I'm just losing interest BTW going back punishing ponies!

@GermanStrands @AmazonUK decided to send mine in a thin card mailer so it arrived all bent up. I ordered a replacement but if that arrives damaged I'll keep sending them back until I get a good one. @AmazonUK just send it in a box. Why do you ship fragile items in thin mailers?
