Arewa has set the bar so low that a bride is expected to furnish the house that she and her husband will live in. Why should my parents buy you mattress that we will sleep on??? As if birthing and raising a daughter that you want to be the mother of your children isn’t enough, you also expect her parents to give you the enabling environment to procreate??? We really have a long way to go. Cancel lefe and furnish the house, let the bride come with her clothes , marriage isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon.
