You sure about this bc the only thing jollof & jambalaya have in common is rice. Jambalaya is not only distinctly different, it was uniquely crafted with American spices and ingredients. This is lazy white patronage that strips ADOS heritage from us and gives it to AFRICANS.

Jambalaya is actually a fascinating dish. It has many tributaries including jollof rice and paella, the confluence of which created something both unique but recognizable. Instead we got an article about Trader Joe’s. Another PR piece. Bu-cee’s gumbo can’t be far off.
