It is not the cutomers fault that the website doesn't show out of stock items. And yes they should either call the customer or warn the doordasher when they arrive and have them call. They should not be taking guesses at what customers want. That is the problem with these chain food places these days...lazy and ignorant.

This employee got a call about a DoorDash order that was already delivered. The customer ordered a steak and cheese, a meatball, and a pepperoni and salami sandwich.
When another employee made it, the store was out of steak and mayo so she just made another meatball sandwich without consulting with the customer first. The customer is upset and says that if they were out of steak then they should have called and let her know so she could get something else instead of having the decision made for her.
The employee defended the other employee and claims they aren’t allowed to call the customer and that the situation was appropriate. When the customer gets mad she then tells her to come down to the store as if to provoke a confrontation. Was the customer wrong for ordering from a third party site that doesn’t show their inventory in real time or should the employee have let the door dasher know so they could call the customer?

The customers are lined up at this subway. One of the workers was on break and was sitting on the counter where they prep food with no shoes on. Another worker saw him making sandwiches with no gloves on and when they asked him about it he kept saying it was fine. This woman came back after she got the wrong order and saw it for herself and is speaking out about it. Nobody in the store seems bothered by it, the barefoot man was still just casually sitting there with his feet out as well. If you came back to the store and saw this wouldn’t you just demand a refund and go elsewhere, would you still eat here with the other employees wearing gloves?

@gotrice2024 I tell the driver we are out and to call the customer. They have their phone number, we dont. However, a majority of the drivers can't speak English, so it's hard to complete an order correctly. Google translate only works when I know the language being spoken :/

This woman shares a vulnerable experience she had at a Costco parking lot. 💔
I waited for this man to load his truck. We chatted, and with the biggest smile, he told me he has terminal lung cancer — less than a month left. His wife just passed. No family here.
I asked if I could hug him… we hugged for two full minutes in the parking lot. He said: ‘Every day won’t always be a good day, but it’s never a bad life.’
Be patient. Talk to strangers. You never know what someone’s carrying. Cherish this life. 🥹
