@IanWright0 Hi Ian, this is my niece Evee-Anne and fortunately she is home and well. She is obviously shaken but everyone round here has been so supportive and 3 girls have been arrested.

@JoshXLs_ @Itshaber The VVD one should have been a goal imo, but wasn’t because the duck from Robertson was deemed to have impacted the keeper. Today, the players weren’t in the way and didn’t do anything so no offside

@Itshaber I think it's the grey area for me. It has to exist. The VVD header was given offside on the pitch and is in the grey area, this wasn't. So both end up as referees call. Can't have a "clear and obvious" bar without those 50/50's going different ways.

I have no idea how that's not been given as offside for Eze's goal..

It doesn't make a difference. At least up to FM24, it didn't, and in FM26, they're removing features rather than adding them. I created 20 test saves: 10 had perfect attributes (both visible and hidden), and 10 had the lowest attributes. I also added the same 15 players to my transfer targets list on all saves. They all signed the same players for the same initial fees and the same contracts. The attributes didn't make the slightest difference. I raised it as a bug for a few years running, but it was never acknowledged/fixed. Happy to run it again to see if it has changed, but I really doubt it has.

@fmFutbolManager Thanks for sharing. Does this mean you won’t be bothered that they don’t have a full bar of role familiarity or will they get that just from playing in that position?

Every year, I review the player roles to see which attributes they train, and then set my players for each position to train those roles. I don't train them for the roles they play on the pitch, but the roles that'll grow their key attributes for the position. This year, I asked ChatGPT Deep Research to analyse the IP and OOP roles you can train, along with the individual training focus, to see if it could create a template for me to follow. This meant I had to feed it every attribute each individual role trains, along with all the individual training focuses (if you want to play around with this, let me know and I'll try to upload them somewhere). I then told it what attributes I prioritise for each position. For my strikers, for example, I look for: Pace, Acceleration, Jumping Reach, Concentration, Dribbling, Vision, Balance, Off the Ball, and Finishing. The template suggested for strikers is below. I'll have all my strikers train these roles, regardless of the roles they'll play in my system, as training is more about attribute growth than role familiarity. I'll review at the end of the season to see how they did. 🎯 Striker (Centre Forward) - In possession training: Centre Forward – Jumping Reach, Pace, Acceleration, Dribbling, Balance, Finishing - Out of possession training: Splitting Outlet Centre Forward – Pace, Acceleration, Off the Ball, Concentration - Best individual training: Shooting – Finishing, Long Shots, Technique - Summary: This setup covers every major striker trait. Centre Forward training boosts pace, acceleration, and balance while refining finishing and aerial presence. Splitting Outlet Centre Forward keeps sharpness in movement and concentration when pressing. Shooting focus reinforces technique and power in front of the goal. Together, these ensure development across finishing, athleticism, movement, and intelligence — the hallmark of a complete centre forward.

@makeamilly1 We don’t like killing games off. If we don’t start, we’ll continue getting injuries and this season won’t end well :/

@ctt_carys Agreed. It’s frustrating when you can see what’s happening and we don’t react at all. Needed a couple of subs in injury time to slow down the pace if not add anything on the pitch. Felt very naive from Mik, sticking to the senior pros and not getting fresh legs on. A shame.

@MTCooper1 Me too bro, I agree entirely with what you’ve said. It’s huge frustration. Just don’t want our first dropped points in 10 games to become a stupid overreaction

@ctt_carys I can’t lie I was really angry. But it’s because my expectations of this team are so high. We’re better than what we saw at the end and we showed it for most of the 2nd half. It is a good point but it’s also a really poor game to have not won. 2 genuinely woeful goals conceded 👎🏻

If you don’t win, just don’t lose. If you are winning, don’t be naïve. People love Hansi Flick ball until it’s time to concede 3 huh? We dropped points to two Ballard layups but it is what it is We are top of the top no matter what & will come from the break with more players

@davelfc1984 @themagic_tophat 1) Calafiori didn’t get booked… so he wouldn’t have been sent off. 2) the “helping hand” is allowing Sunderland to do anything they like to Arsenal players and then blowing up the second an Arsenal player looked at them in a funny way. free kick for the 1st goal a prime example

@themagic_tophat What was the helping hand ?? Did your left back not take a player out as they headed into the box already on a yellow ?? You lot should have been down to 10 but you won’t acknowledge that

Sunderland deserve the draw despite the incredible helping hand they got from Pawson throughout the game. Excellent team. Also impressed with how we fought back in the second half despite heavy fatigue. Only gripe would be I wish we’d subbed on Norgaard and Hincapie at 90’.

FT: Blimey. That was a workout - and I'm sitting on the sofa. Gutted not to take all three points but we were in a real battle today and couldn't get over the line with our energy reserves at 0%. Showed great fight to get back, but there will be regrets about our defending. UGH!

@_PhilCosta They’re given on every other blade of grass outside the penalty area and it’s a clean elbow before the ball arrives. But Saliba glances a player and the ball with his head and that’s a penalty 😂😂😂

@BritInUSofA @nocontextfm1 My biggest issue is that I’m absolutely dominant in a way I wasn’t expecting but my players are missing insane chances in increasingly hilarious ways. Blazing miles wide and over from easy positions. It’s genuinely funny at this point 😂

@nocontextfm1 I feel like this is a hot take, I like the game. I see the bugs and I see the complaints. Is the User Interface hard to learn? Yes, as somebody who has played since 2003 I struggled at the start. But, I like the game, I love the updates, I love the changes
