@BlindFremen Your view is shared by many, but personally I've always found a Rhystic just makes you a target. I can live with it in the format, but I can't argue it isn't at the tippy top of the allowable power curve.

@MTGCritic New RC now, format is completely different than a decade ago, card should have been banned 20 years ago. Change is good. This card has the most cancerous play pattern of any card.

@mtg_ds That would be my guess. It's hard for me to imagine the community complaining about a Lair drop leading to this or else it would have already happened before. One of their partners complaining though would probably be taken seriously.

Seems like someone wasn't happy about the response to the Monster Hunter Lair drops. Not sure what to think of this. On one hand, responding to feedback is good. On the other, making a Lair drop so bad you need to pull the plug is pretty embarrassing. magic.wizards.com/en/news/announ…

Quick note on grading, especially SPM cards. WOTC quality control on print is poor on this set. We bought these 2 from customers that paid $125 to grade these, and paid the same as raw value. Any whitening on the corners = you lose money grading.
