Kīlauea is NOT erupting. 🌋 However, due to a sharp increase in earthquakes below the Upper East Rift Zone and Kīlauea summit, Hilina Pali Road is closed from Chain of Craters Road. Overnight use of the coastal backcountry, Nāpau and Pepeiao Cabin are temporarily closed.
