Sometimes I think about how my book pitch on fascism in Canada like 2 or 3 years ago was passed on by all the major publishers.

Today, the Trump administration repealed the endangerment finding: the ruling that served as the basis for limits on tailpipe emissions and power plant rules. Without it, we’ll be less safe, less healthy and less able to fight climate change — all so the fossil fuel industry can make even more money.

@NoLore What struck me most was that, at 18, the shooter had had gun permits already and they had lapsed. So apparently kids can get gun permits in Canada, wtf?

I am stunned to not see what the biggest part of this horrible tragedy in Tumbler Ridge be talked about more -- this is Canada's worst (single) act of mass violence against children. By someone who was barely not a child any more.
