@the4kCollectivE With this and the recent TMNT trilogy…Arrow is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Can’t wait for this to arrive!

@mheathx182 @pockets_13 @ArrowFilmsVideo That’s fine if they are. But my understanding is that 4k Blu-ray’s don’t have region locks and my personal experience with those from Arrow worked for me. Technically, you weren’t specific about that either. Your comment appeared to generalize, which is why I commented.

@TheCinesthetic In T1 Arnold would do things like move his eyes before turning his head to feel less human with his actions. And in T2 the Liquid Metal terminator saw things by touching them and didn’t blink when firing a weapon. In T3 she just delivered her dialogue robotically. No subtleties.

@TheCinesthetic The thing I dislike most about T3 is the terminators. Arnold is forced into too much cringy humor that was funny upon initial release but feels really off now. And the female terminator unfortunately was just bad. She just acted robotic and they thought that was good enough.

@CerbersEnjoyer @MyNameIsByf @jingelhymer What I’m explaining isn’t deep. I just elaborated on it a bit. But it’s as simple as Bungie purposely puts addictive aspects into D2 and people get addicted to the grind. Once invested they fear missing out on something fun because fun has a time limit on it in D2.

Destiny content creators are such shills. They never speak out about all the bad things that have happened in Destiny 2. They definitely dont have YEARS of content giving criticism and constructive feedback on things Bungie has done. Its all just for a paycheck.

@falloutplays @jingelhymer Appreciate you hopping in to clarify, but it’s still an obvious conflict of interest. Why would you roast the game if it could impact your ability to collect future paychecks for shilling?

@jingelhymer @MyNameIsByf …While streamers still cover TWAB’s, make videos of despair, go through the cycle of hoping for change, reminisce about better times, and finally show off the new expansion that they bought…and that’s how Bungie wants it right now. Keep them on the hook. Keep them paying.

@jingelhymer @MyNameIsByf It’s the only reason the game is still being worked on at all, because they’ve mastered those manipulation tactics and there’s still a small core audience that is addicted to logging in, doing the checklists, trying new things before its eventual nerf, hoping for better days etc.

@Sierragulf1 @MyNameIsByf @jingelhymer They have to make stuff desirable to make people chase for it now before they take away the desirability to make the next stuff desirable. FOMO tactics.

@Sierragulf1 @MyNameIsByf @jingelhymer I’m saying they have to make some bad decisions in order to keep people wanting all the new stuff. They have to make nerfs and changes that they know people will hate. Throw in 1 they’ll purposely roll back so the manipulated audience will praise you and forget about the others.

@MyNameIsByf @jingelhymer And just like a drug addict can’t quit or else he gets dope sick, content creators hooked on D2 can’t easily switch to something else or else they lose money…or at least that idea scares them into continuing to cover D2 even with all the obvious downsides, just like addicts.

@MyNameIsByf @jingelhymer Bungie employees went to seminars to learn how to manipulate their audience and maximize the retention to turn that into revenue…and they keep tweaking that algorithm squeezing more and more $ out of people for less and less content, and people keep paying and defending Bungie.

@TaylorLorenz @TheOmniLiberal You’ve acted the entire time like you’re hiding something. You appear dishonest. You absolutely have lied on the past. Your logic is inconsistent and you’re hypocritical. I don’t trust that your reporting is only motivated by topics you care about, and I don’t trust your word.

@TheOmniLiberal I have reported on this topic for a decade for outlets including NYT, WaPo, and others. Pierre Omidyar is not “dark money” and my investigative journalism fellowship explicitly states that we have editorial independence. Omidyar SUPPORTS KOSA, the exact law I criticize.

Be wary about anything Taylor reports on this. She’s receiving unknown guidance from Omidyar, funded by a dark LLC that generates money in ways that are totally obscure to the public. We have no idea what kind of guidance or instruction she receives and no clue what the financial motives are.
Taylor Lorenz@TaylorLorenz

Part of how they want to enact this is by rolling out mass censorship and surveillance online through things like “reforming” section 230 and laws like KIDS Act/KOSA which would remove LGBTQ, abortion content etc from the internet (and “leftists”/liberals are helping them do it)

@TaylorLorenz @The_Chos1n @TheOmniLiberal But if that story about you doesn’t have a correction or retraction then it must be true, right? Isn’t that the logic you’ve dictated throughout all of this?

@The_Chos1n @TheOmniLiberal That absolutely never happened lol. I called Biden a war criminal many times throughout his genocide & would never back down from that statement. That story was written by a lunatic Zionist at NPR who personally hates me. WaPo said *on the record* I was never fired.

"I'm sorry you are hung up on wanting to see source materials, but that's not how journalism works. If anything in our story was false, WIRED would correct the story." You keep saying this, but it's not an argument. You have been kicked out of mainstream publications in the past for your dishonesty, so there's no reason to trust you now. <3 "The proof is our story. We explain that the creators were paid by 1630, which is backed up our source material: interviews, contract copies, internal emails/messages, and more." The 1630 Fund is a fiscal sponsor that provides a (c)(4) shield to new...actually idk why I'm explaining this, I don't think you understand any of it, nevermind. You have no proof for this claim because you don't even understand what you're saying. "Per our sources, Chorus was threatening to sue anyone who they discovered spoke to the media." Really? Did YOU yourself see any of these threats? Do you have any proof or evidence of these threats? Or just more hearsay? lol
Taylor Lorenz@TaylorLorenz

"Creators can make unsubstantiated claims like that, but it's a fact that the contracts did prohibit disclosure" Then quote it. You said during our conversation that it was your editoral choice to remove the quotes/references. - Yes, it was an editorial choice when to and when to not quote from the source materials. I'm sorry you are hung up on wanting to see source materials, but that's not how journalism works. If anything in our story was false, WIRED would correct the story. "They're outlined in the article. Read it again." They're not. It's a really sparse and poorly put together article. - It's in there, I am sure you can find it "They were being paid by 1630 fund (see above answer on disclosure)" The 1630 fund is a fiscal sponsor, they don't contribute money directly. Do you have any proof of them paying creators in Chorus? Post it. " - The proof is our story. We explain that the creators were paid by 1630, which is backed up our source material: interviews, contract copies, internal emails/messages, and more. The whole reason several creators came to me/WIRED with the story was bc they wanted public disclosure about the program, which was prohibited by the contract." If multiple creators came to wired and said they wanted public disclosure, have them post their contract or publicly confirm your statements, then? - They came to me/WIRED because they don't want to out themselves as sources publicly. Per our sources, Chorus was threatening to sue anyone who they discovered spoke to the media. This is why sources in many stories speak on the condition that they're not named.

@StarWarsDaily_ One of my favorites. Specifically because he wasn’t flashy, he was very grounded and the stakes were realistic for him. The suspense felt larger for him. The actor portrayed a good deal of emotion without going over the top. Thoroughly enjoyable character in a great story arc.
