It is our sincere hope that someday Medieval Times is held accountable for their actions and takes real steps to address the systemic issues of poverty wages, sexual harassment, and animal mistreatment. So, for that effort, we look to you, our community, to carry on our mission.

Today, the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA) sent notice to Medieval Times officially relinquishing their role as our designated bargaining representative. Our union has reached the end of its journey.

The NLRB has issued a complaint against Medieval Times alleging the company illegally fired a worker who raised concerns about customers sexually assaulting employees. The complaint says the worker shared his concerns directly with CEO Perico Montaner. huffpost.com/entry/medieval…

On 11/17/23 — after 9 long months — the striking members of @MTUnitedCA (AGVA) made an unconditional offer to return to work @ the Buena Park castle. Our sincerest thanks are with the countless guests, union members & community allies who lent their support & solidarity.

The Medieval Times strike is over. It lasted 9 months. Workers return to the Buena Park CA castle tomorrow. The company denied reinstatement to 3 workers, including a knight/union activist who alleged horse abuse. The union calls it "blatant" retaliation. huffpost.com/entry/medieval…
