Take a bow! That’s the stop of the season! #PICKFORD

Don’t get the controversy at Anfield. Szoboszlai would clear ball if not pulled back, so anything after the pull can’t count. Haaland does this whilst advantage is being played from a previous foul. That foul prevents Haaland tapping ball in. FK and DOGSO is correct! #supersunday

If Reform UK are so appalled at the mismanagement of the country by the last government, why are most of their accepted defections people who were members of cabinet in the last government?? #reform #politicsisamess

@bluemaccaEFC We will. It’ll be published with full written reasons next week (For context, Gana sent off v Utd on 24/11, appeal meeting was 26/11, written reasons with panel details published 2/12)

English

Who are on the panel, do we know?
Surely this shouldn't be kept secret?
Football should be open and transparent.

🗣️“Hugely disappointed. Angry with the panel. I have to question the three of them and I know who the three of them are.” - David Moyes on Keane’s red card appeal being rejected

@SkySportsPL My god, Bothroyd is just consistently awful in this segment. I appreciate that Dermot often doesn’t add a huge amount of insight (and does often just back the ref) but at least he has standing. Replacing Sue Smith/Stephen Warnock for Bothroyd has been a shocker! #RefWatch
English

I appreciate a lot of it is down to better batting, but look what happens when you produce a proper cricket wicket! 5th day, all 3 results still possible (although Aus strong favourites). Definitely plenty for bowlers and yet 4 scores of 130+. Proper test cricket #Ashes2025

@Gre9orypeck09 @phil_spudhead Wolves were coming into it and controlling the midfield, a tricky winger would not change that, in my view. I agree it was dire, I just don’t see what improvement the bench offered. My god we need KDH, Gana and Ndiaye back
English

@MTWilliams94 @phil_spudhead We needed a 2nd goal - maybe our £45m winger....?
English

@phil_spudhead @Gre9orypeck09 I’m not arguing that people needed to come off of possible. My question is ‘who on the bench was better?’ - appreciate it’s a bloody hard question looking at our bench! 🤣
English

@MTWilliams94 @Gre9orypeck09 McNeil needed to come off , he was having a mate . And Myko worst left back in the league.
English

@TheEvertonEnd The Keane red was very very questionable, but was stupid of him to even give the ref a decision to make. Grealish, though, was totally deserved. Was lucky not to be sent off 2 mins earlier when, on a yellow, screamed ‘you sh*t b*stard’ at the ref. Complete head-loss.
English

@cdsmith789 With our strikers, I’m not sure anything can be considered obvious! 🤣
English

@MTWilliams94 Surely any shot in the box, with no one between the attacker and the keeper, is an obvious goalscoring opportunity?
English

Zubimendi isn't even trying to get away with this. He's bringing Barry down precisely before he gets into the box. I bet he was more surprised than anyone to avoid getting penalised. It's just awful officiating yet again.

RED CARD ? x.com/klasykw81879/s…
English

@cdsmith789 I agree he’d get it. But I don’t agree that this (if Barry is on his feet with the ball) is an ‘Obvious’ goalscoring opportunity, given the wide angle and the covering defender. It’s 100% a foul but I don’t think it’s DOGSO and so VAR couldn’t intervene

English

@MTWilliams94 I think Barry will reach the ball however wide the angle for the shot is. Think it's slightly unreasonable if we're asking players to ensure their touch is not too heavy while they're being fouled. Feels like an unfair advantage to the defending side.
English

@TheOtherDrJD A big day indeed! Beating the odds is one thing, but doing so and now being someone who champions the welfare of others and is an outstanding doctor is something else!
English

@Matt_VickersMP Look at your pay compared to ours since 2008! We have waiting lists created by your party’s horrific mismanagement. We don’t have the staff to clear them as we can’t get jobs in specialty training. Typical Tory…we’re too important to strike but not important enough to pay.

English

@wesstreeting So you want to be partners with us on one hand, but are happy to call us juvenile delinquents on the other? Sounds like a solid plan…can’t see and faults with this at all 🤦🏻♂️
English

I think the public would be appalled if I went ahead with the offer while they’re left suffering Christmas strikes.
I don’t want this transactional relationship with the BMA, I want a partnership.
I hope we can build that in 2026 if RDs vote for the offer and end the strikes.
Lewis Thomas Hughes@lewisthughes
@wesstreeting Do you think the public are happy with you horse trading with things they want you to fix, just because the BMA want it fixed as well?
English

@oli_m_sims Mine had a wonderful comment that started “Tom is an excellent trainee…” and proceeded to explain the many reasons why. My name is Matt! 🤣
English

Not ‘Spot On’
There are internationally recognised standards for a screening programme that ‘blanket testing’ PSA simply does not meet. If there was an alternative test that meets the criteria then it would be implemented. The expert panel declined to recommend for a reason!
